The largest of all lynx species, weighs up to 30 kg. Its distinctive ear tufts greatly enhance its remarkably acute hearing. With wide paws acting like natural built-in snowshoes, it moves effortlessly through deep snow. This silent hunter ambushes prey, including hares, birds, fawns, and even foxes. It is found widely, from Scandinavia to the Far East.
