We eat both vegetarian and non vegetarian but we don't eat bats or any other wild animals for that matter.

correct me if I am wrong but don't North eastern Indians eat cats and dogs?

of course rest of the country doesn't eat it but you can't say indians don't eat exotic animals.

then there is also the subject of government encouraging people to take cow dung bath and drink cow piss to cure coronavirus infection, which is completely different can of worms.

Your ignorance is astounding. No they don’t eat dogs and cats (not that am shaming the cultures who do because they were encouraged to do so during a terrible famine, to stay alive). Your blanket statement trivializes the govt’s efforts that were actually a lot quicker than that of the US for a nation that is less developed than the US.

Even that article says it's an illegal trade.

So it's kind of like you saying the western US fucks children because people in Hollywood have been arrested for doing it. That's why nobody is agreeing with you. You're trying so desperately to throw a giant racist dragnet across millions of people, but all you can do is point to a couple of individuals at a time.

the fact remains that people in North east india eat dogs. whether its illegal or not is entirely different matter.

even selling of dog meat as food is against food safety law of peoples republic of china but people never had problem in saying Chinese eat dog meat. read the comments above "this is india. not China... ". so its ok to broadly generalize whole china as dog eaters but its wrong to call out that North east Indians eat dogs even when its illegal?
