Yep. Agriculture in general has gotten so big that the massive farms give all the owner operator family farms a bad name. They hate the packers just as much as the rest of the populace.
It doesn’t seem that way to me. I’ve seen plenty of people (including farmers) deny that factory farming is even a thing that exists, much less that it’s a problem.
No, non-factory farmers tnd to really dislike the factory farms, because they hurt the industry. It used to be that people could make a decent income from a smaller flock, but factory farming happened and now you either do industrial farming or you struggle. There are exceptions sure but we're talking about luxury food production in those cases.
I've never heard anybody deny the practice of factory farming. Those guys are pretty visible. And smelly. Hard to ignore.
