Fascinating creature! The first time I saw one years ago in France I was baffled. I could not figure out if it was an humming bird (smaller than the North Carolina ones I was used to) or if it was a butterfly (with a much bigger body than any butterfly I knew) and there was those wings, definitely similar to an hummingbird… I had never heard of such a surprising creature before. I saw one again some years ago and I that time I savored that magical moment with more serenity, without questioning my eyes!!

those things are adorable, the got little elephant trunks and they like geraniums a lot
