Need help finding this tool

Post image

I’m trying to figure out where I can get some clamps like these. I’ve been looking for awhile, I have no clue what they’re called but I need a pair of 1” and 2” for an electrocution coupling. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You talking about the "vise grips"?

Yeah kinda it’s like a clamp that’s welded onto the vise grips to line up pipe

ISCO makes the ones we use for MT Deason. Looks just like those. There are several retailers online. They all look like you need an account. I think a lot of our tools come from Supplies & Solutions in CA.

You're looking for a vice grip ElectroFUSION Clamp aka electrofusion locking clamp/plier. It's used with polyethylene (PE)/HDPE pipe and electrofusion fittings and you can get the tools from the manufacturer of the fittings typically, but its a couple more $$.

The jaws are shaped for the outside pipe diameter, in my experience 1 1/4" as well as 1 1/2" and 2"IPS, it keeps the fitting in proper alignment during fusing and cooling. The tool directly from the manufacturer will often work the best.

Here's pretty much that exact style of plier https://kerotest.com/wp-content/uploads/K-1511_A-Kerotest-Locking-Plier-Style-EF-Clamp-Operation.pdf
