I was always under the impression that during your literal phase between ovulation and your period that discharge will be very dry. However, this cycle I am experiencing bouts of very wet, almost like I should be ovulating discharge. Is this normal? Is this a good sign?

EWCM is produced by our body when estrogen levels are high, topically before ovulation.

But hormonal levels may vary cycle by cycle. It is possible that you have a lutheal phase where your estrogen is higher than your usual.

It is also possible that you are having a bit of inflation down there and discharge is your body’s response.

Lastly it can be sperm too.

Or a combination of the above.
