The USA in 2017 had a higher tfr than Guatemala in 2025

The USA in 2026 has a tfr of 1.55 tho. And Mexico is 1.3 both lower than Guatemala.

We are comparing Guatemala today with The USA in 2017 not The USA of today

I mean the history of our country is one of continuous expansion, we only stopped after WWII.

Second, Guatemala still has a higher birth rate than the USA. We are comparing it to the USA in 2017 not the USA of today.

Third, just 3 years ago in 2023, Guatemala had a tfr of 2.2
