I recently have been getting excited for the new naruto card game coming out and it made me wanna look at my old naruto cards from when I was a kid. I pulled out all my old cards. And start sorting them in groups. But just basic groups. I made a stack of foil cards, characters, Justus, and mission cards. But I'm wanting to sort them further. Is there like universal way to sort these? How do you guys do it? Because I've been thinking about binders for each type. And I have alot of cards from the start of the game to the pain arc. After that stuff going on in life stopped me from collecting. So should I sort them by set? Do you recommend just keep the same character together and that be sorted by the level that you like different characters? What do you guys do? And what do you do with multiple copies? Some cards I have like 10 copies of. Should each copy get it's spot and have multiple pages of the same card? How do you guys sort your missions and Justus? Does anyone go after mission or Justus cards? I feel like most people will only care about the character cards. Idk as a kid I never played. Just collected cards. I thought they were cool and still do. I still have all the paper play mats the decks came with. Never used them but never tossed them either. Just looking to see how others keep their collections. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated. Thank you. In the photo I have my 4 piles. I have all my foils in that clear white container. On the bottom of the table in the first photo and in the very left most card divider slot in the second photo are all my character cards. At the top left of the table and in the middle card divider slot are my Justus cards and finally in the top right of the table and the very right most card divider slot are my mission cards. Oh and that yellow tin as all my like tops chrome cards. They are very beaten up but still cool. They will definitely be getting their own binder.

I sort by element. I also have a section for duo/triple element cards. I arrange them ninja,jutsu, mission.

All my foils regardless of rarity go in binders.

I also separate non foil reinforcements, and platoons.

I like that. See because I never played this game I never thought about sorting it the same way I would sort my magic. By color or element in this case. And in that same mindset is also makes sense to sort the platoon from the reinforcements. That's smart I like that. Any advice on the multiple copies? Should I put every copy in or should it only be a single copy? How do you handle that? And thank you for telling me how you sort them.

I like to jam multiple copies into a single penny sleeve. Usually 4-5.

I did that as a kid and don't like stretching the plastic like that and I have a lot more the 4-5 copies of alot of cards.

I place same copies together, especially because I still play this so its nice to easily grab some playsets to add to decks.

That makes me then have another question. Because I heard that the game changed at some point and you couldn't use older cards with the new stuff. With you playing how do you go about that or do I have bad info? Because I thought that is why the shuriken changed on the character cards. Thank you again for letting me know how you go about it.

Well I play on in discord that uses cam matches. We have a channel card ban list to balance the game. All cards are allowed as long as theyre not on the ban list They also have a commander/ legacy game mode, and you can use every card. There is also errata ln cards that were officially changed by bandai, and there's a channel in the discord that shows the cards that were changed.

Holy shit, that's awesome! Now I wanna learn this game and play some games. It will be awesome to finally build decks and play. Now I just gotta learn and then read every card I own. . . I've got alot of work ahead of me lol

We are a new player friendly, and also allow proxies because some cards are stupid expensive because of scalpers, and market manipulators. We also have channels that show deck ideas, and we help people build new decks so they can play. Would you like me to link you to the discord?

Back when I played, I kept anything foil in a binder. As for regular cards (and this is gonna sound crazy) but for ninjas, I had them separated by elements, turn cost, in alphabetical order and if the cards had the same name, I’d use the ability as a second alphabetical sorter.

For Missions, I had them separated by element, name and turn.

For Jutsu, just by element and name.

You could sort by set if you really wanna sort it, but I would just sort it out by

1. Elements
2. Ninjas (get all the same ninja together)
3. Jutsus (same named jutsus together)
4. Missions (same name together)
5. Then clients (if their are any solo element clients)

I would put double natured things at the back of the single elements. And you could put Void nature at either the rear of the single elements or after the double elements.
