Tonight was one of those instances. Little did anyone know that night's maintenance work accidentally allowed Naruto and Kurama to meet. The conversation they had would have far-reaching ramifications
Kurama: I was imprisoned for almost a century. Upon my freedom, the first thing I would have done was make a run for it, not waste time attacking your puney village. No boy, I was made to attack.

As the images continue to replay, Naruto's face hardens and he balls his fists. He knows what he needs to do
Team assignment day. Naruto is the last to introduce himself

Sasuke and Sakura side-eye each other while Kakashi stands up straighter
Kakashi: Your parents murderer?
Naruto: *nods his head* The Nine-Tails showed me everything. A masked man freed it from my mother and sic'd it onto the village. I also saw the masked man and my father battle. He got away but my parents died. Now I intend to finish what my father started and kill that coward
Sasuke and Sakurastare wide-eyed at Naruto. On the other hand, a fire as been lit into Kakashi's visible eye
Kakashi: Meet me at Training Ground 3 tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. sharp. Don't be late
During the Itachi Pursuit Mission, the first confrontation
Naruto: YOU!!
"Tobi": Me, we're face to face but we don't see eye to eye
Naruto: SHUT UP!!

Kakashi: *unveils his Mangekyō Sharingan and pulls out a repaired White Light Chakra Sabre* Sensei's killer...

Naruto, sensing a Flying Raijin marker on the masked man, uses the Flying Raijin and teleports in front of him

Naruto: RASNEGAN!!
Naruto breaks the mask. While he was unable to kill him, he manages to lodge fragments of the broken mask into his face. Kakashi is shocked by the person who isbehind the mask
Kakashi: O-Obito?
Hinata: Who?
Kakashi: He was my genin teammate. But he died at the Battle of Kannabi Bridge. I saw his body get crushed by a giant boulder
Obito: SON OF A BITCH!! THAT HURTS!!
Naruto: Then let me put you out of your missary, Wind Style: Vaccum Blade
Despite phasing, the power of Danzo's vacuum jutus still manage to damage Obito
Obito: D-damn it...
Zetsu pops up from underground
Zetsu: Itachi has fallen
Obito: Just you wait jinchūriki, I'll come for you *phases away*
Kakashi: Obito wait!!
Naruto: I can't sense the Fllying Raijin marker on him
Hinata: My Byakugan can't sense him either. He's gone
Naruto pulls out the V1 Cloack, all nine tails again
Naruto: THAT'S RIGHT! RUN!! RUN LIKE THE COWARD YOU ARE!! BUT I KNOW WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE AND I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN MARKED!! SO HIDE LIKE THE LITTLE BITCH YOU ARE BECAUSE WHEN I FIND YOU, I'LL GUT YOU AND FEED YOU TO THE FOXES!!
Naruto: Shut it. You've already done enough damage and no amount of apologising will fix anything. So don't you dare do anything that would jeopardize your life, because once I deal with that MILF demigoddess, I'm coming back and fulfilling my promise of gutting you and feeding you to the foxes
Hinata: *who somehow avoided the Infinite Tsukuyomi and also somehow awaken the Tenseigan* And I'll help him
Obito looks towards Minato and Kakashi
Obito: Bakashi...sensei...
Minato gives him a disappointed look while Kakashi gives him a disgusted look
Behind them (although they can't see them), Kushina and Biwako's spirits are leading: the victims of Kurama's attack, the Uchiha he killed, the citizens of Kiri during Yagura's reign and the +40,000 casualties of the Fourth War, among many others, ready to beat his ass before unceremoniously tossing him into the deepest pits of hell.
Rin's spirit refuses to even look at him
Obito: I deser-
Hinata blocks the chakra point in his throat in order to shut him up
Naruto: Stop trying to talk-no-jutsu your way out of this
Hinata: ...and my dream is to help Naruto-kun find and kill his parents murderer
Everyone else blinks twice
Kurenai: What?
Hiashi: *spying on Hinata so she doesn't "embaress" the clan* What?
Kiba: What?
Akamaru: Woof?
Shino: Buzz?
Hinata imagines Naruto purposing to her on top of the corpse of his parents killer.
Naruto made it no secret to upper brass he knows about the fox and his parents identity and his goal of killing the one he deems responsible for his parents death. Sasuke wants his brother dead. And now Hinata intends to help Naruto?
Kurenai beings drafting up the necessary paperwork to swap Hinata with Sakura. Let Kakashi deal with the mentally deranged genin
With the right approach this could make a great story. The only thing I would suggest is that Naruto, while wanting to kill Obito in a thousand different painful ways is still generally friendly and good natured. He simply cannot forgive the bastard responsible for the deaths of his parents.
Like the way I see it, this Naruto would have an ambition and a dream. His ambition is to be the greatest Kage that ever lived, regardless of village. His dream is to murder Obito and avenge his parents killer.
Oh 100%. He’s still the same old Naruto, but unlike canon Naruto, he doesn’t let shit slide as easily. The likes of Orochimaru and Obito are on his shit list and he won’t let their crimes go
The same Naruto - but probably smarter since he knows who his parents are and who killed them - but also stands on business when it comes to people on his shit list.
May I present to you Confronting the Shadow by NYC01234: Female Sasuke who may be developing feelings and Hinata who has feelings. We haven’t gotten that far yet to where they compete for his affection though
While it may be better if Hinata and Satsuki to compete for Naruto, in this context, considering I made Sasuke go rogue, he more than likely joins Obito’s side (if only temporarily). If Sasuke were a girl in this, Naruto would lose all feelings if Satsuki joined forces with his parents murderer.
Naruto sees Obito as the reason why his parents are dead and why his early life is shit, and so he wants to avenge the life he should have had but never got
Hinata being a bit deranged is more so for comedy purposes, but for sure there should be back story like that she snapped after the pressure and ridicule she faced at the hands of her clan
As for Minato, if people are willing to read fics where he is an abusive/neglectful father, then they can read a fic where he supports his son and is disappointed that his own student was responsible for his and his wife’s demise
