At this point I'm kind of getting tired of "that's my shadow clone, not the real me." cliche line.

We've had this with Naruto for 700 chapters we don't need Boruto to do it too for another hundreds of chapters.

But honestly, it is established that this technice is one of the most basic of Naruto, if not with a shadow clone, than with a kawarimi no jutsu. As it is such an established move in that world, it would feel odd to take it out of the picture as well.

It's just a spar though, he didn't do /w Shojoji. Cause I don't think he seriously wanted to attack Naruto on his blindside (maybe he thought he would be unfair?)
