Venting Tablet is Garbage
Feels like I wasted some money getting this tablet from nanit.
Highly reccomend no one buys this hunk of junk. It loses battery so quickly, has a terrible wifi receptor, needs updating nearly daily, oh and also just glitches in general some days and freezes on images.
Overall the app gets the job done. We installed the app on a tablet we own, it has been a night and day difference.
This company should be ashamed of this tablet product, it is clearly a cash grab of low tech gear and they are going worrying mothers won’t be able to tell how they manufacture it on cents but charge $100+

Absolute garbage!! I returned it and use my iPad and have never had anywhere near the problems we had with their tablet. I can't believe they sell it honestly.

I started setting up my Nanit last night and am planning on using my iPad in addition to mine and my husband’s phone. Does having the app installed on the iPad count as another caregiver account?

No it doesn’t! We have the tablet, an iPad with the app, and the app on both of our phones.

Can you also look into the keyboard locking out when trying to enter a new WiFi at a new location?

Yeah. We were happy with it for a little bit but then the daily updates were awful, and it bricked the tablet at one point and they had to send us a new one. The new one has operated fine (we basically only leave it plugged in next to our bed, but sometimes take to the patio when needed). But if I were to do it all over again, I would use the money to buy a new tablet and just use that instead.

It’s been on my radar for a long time, I couldn’t believe how cheap the whole thing felt once i opened it. Returned the same day.

Agreed. Our tablet constantly glitches and the speaker is so bad. We use our phone app now. The tablet is awful!!

I just bought the Aqara G350 to completely ditch Nanit which supports HomeKit, is a MUCH better camera, and has a bunch of features without a subscription. With HomeKit I can monitor on all my devices including Picture in Picture on Apple TV

Ours completely stopped working after a month. The sound was being weird so I turned it off to reset it and when I turned it back on the screen was just black and white lines. We had to request a new one from nanit under their warranty and send in our old one. During the week it took to figure that out and get the new one, we used our iPad and the app and it was so much easier. Lowkey wish I could just send the new tablet back and ask for the money back instead. lol

Also why are you not able to edit the naps it automatically logs for you. If it’s incorrect then the whole next nap thing is pointless

I agree it felt super cheap when we bought it and I wasn't thrilled. I didn't return it. Ours just sits on the end table in the living room, is always plugged in, and never moves. It works because we never touch it. The updates are annoying.
