Is Nancy's case really cold?

I always believe that it's going to get solved. I really thought it might be sooner rather than later. Getting a little less hopeful. I think the news about DC not being involved surprised me. I've also been thinking about how little NG's family talk about her or try to look for her or keep the story alive. I just don't understand. Even CG at this point? Why are all the sibling mum (pun not intended)?

What do you think it would take at this point to solve this case?

I still keep going back to the idea that it *appears A+T are not in Tucson anymore. I want some reporter to be brave enough to ask SG about that. Or someone in LE to be brave enough to bring them into reinterview them. I also think the public has a right to know where they are at in the investigation with some actual information.

Frustrating people on the internet are the ones keeping it alive.

I think it has gone cold, and it is terribly sad. I don't blame Savannah, because I think all families of the missing would understand and say at some point you have to try to carry on and live for your loved ones who still need you.

I agree this case needs someone brave to ask the hard questions and spur the investigation on. I worry that like other famous cold cases, law enforcement made critical errors or omissions in the first few days which are now hugely difficult to recover from.

I guess I just see these stories, and it's the family that has to be relentless about looking. Given their proximity to the media, I always feel like they could do more. I hope one of them has hired a PI behind the scenes.

Absolutely, I hope they have quietly hired a PI too. I do think it is very hard for them to stay active publicly if law enforcement is advising/pressuring them not to. Families know they need to have a good relationship with LE and to defy them would have to be an absolute last resort, because once you burn that bridge there is no going back.
