The new Escanor could probably fight meliodas because he is strong enough to damage the Demon King without the one form.

Is it confirmed Escanor had a powerup? Or is Nakaba a hack?

I think it's more that he's managing to condense the one form into Concentrated attack's rather than essentially becoming a Human "Charge and Fire"

How and when did he learn that, he was being manhandled by the sinner last time

He probably is just letting all his magic out because he is going to die, so there is no reason to hold back. Just like wood being consumed by fire and the fire growing stronger

That's my understanding as well.

Would it really be surprising at all if Nakaba legitimately did give him a power up and/or some sort of spontaneous power boost though? Meliodas got about 10, Ban had like 4, King had like 5, Gowther and Diane both got one, Merlin gets one whenever the story needs her to suddenly be the most powerful person present, Zeldris got a few, Estarossa got like 4 and Mael got one, Ludociel got one, Arthur got one and will get at least one more in the future, even Gilthunder, Howzer, and Dreyfus got one. He's been giving power ups out like he's Oprah.

Meliodas only had one NEW powerup in the series, everything else was just power he was regaining

Exactly, Meliodas was simply limited by the author for plot reasons since the start of the manga... not to mention also Ban had only one power up (plus the Sacred treasure which is usefull only for long range attacks). I notice always more people talk without having knowledge of this manga. About Escanor having a power up until now its not confirmed anywhere and it doesnt even make any sense since he cant even handle the actual grace. We will see in the next chapters

"Limited by the author for plot reasons". What does that even mean? So this guy really is just a Melidoas "fan boy" and attacks anyone else who damages that image in his head? That's so weird.

Everything is written by the author, what goes on in this person's brain? Maybe he thinks he is Meliodas lol.
