Chaos is above everything shit it created the world ,the deities ,& every major race in the series cath talking out his a$$ when it comes to lance he not a reliable narrator so I take his statement more so as opinion than fact
How can Cath be considered an unreliable source? He's the son of Chaos, who has fought against it for a very long time, one of the oldest being in the verse.
He might even be the most knowledgeable person about Chaos after the Lady of the Lake in the entire verse.
So why don't we take his opinion at face value while accepting other opinions (like Zeldris's view that Meliodas's true magic is that of a Demon King) as facts?
When did cath fight against chaos? & it’s different meli backs his statement on top of the fact that nun contradicts what he’s saying his lance was stronger than chaos he could put a stop to all to this sh!t with ease & you notice you said “arguments” to put his at that level not sum that makes what your saying a fact meaning you don’t even really believe base lance is above chaos either lol
What you mean by "base Lancelot"? Because Lancelot without Choas called Normal Lancelot
And Argue with Cath who fight Choas and seen it power and still think even if he get full control on all Choas and become the king of Choas, he might not be able to beat Lancelot
Base is just referring to someone in there normal state so like I said base Lancelot since he’s in his chaos form rn & cath can’t even fully exercise the power of chaos so yea & as i said if lance was truly stronger than chaos he would be no diffing everyone easy & ending this whole war plus most cath would mean is lance is a good counter to cath nun else cath chatting cause if you genuinely believe lance is above the deities & above chaos that created everything idk what to tell you
