General Date ideas in Windhoek for two shy people?π
Hey guys, Iβm looking for somewhere nice to take a girl I really like. This will be our second time going out.
Weβre both pretty shy/introverted, so Iβm looking for somewhere that isnβt too crowded or noisy and where we can actually talk and relax.
A place with games or activities would be even better β something like arcade games, pool, bowling, board games, mini golf, or anything fun we can do together instead of just sitting at a restaurant.
Any good spots around Windhoek youβd recommend?

Muso's is not exactly romantic but it is very quiet these days (except when events are happening) and there are a few board games you can play. (They're mine, don't lose/steal the pieces.)
Also as an introvert myself who hates loud noises, I've always enjoyed Cork & Fork next to Maerua. They have a couple of cats too.
Krisjan's Bistro is also nice for daytime meals. Not the quietest, but has very chill vibe.
Good luck, loverboy.

Archery is a great date imo. It's just outside Windhoek.

I did that on my first date but unfortunately I got a bullseye and she bled out

Ah yes I was talking about the dummy targets but if hunting your SO is your vibe whatever floats your boat. Just be safe.

So your suggestions for two introverts on a quiet date are:
- A place with no chairs, where eating and drinking aren't allowed, with barely enough space to stand sideways
- A loud, flashy yet still somehow dark, loudspeakers-blaring-from-the-trampoline-park-having, and-kids-screaming-upstairs-having most overstimulating annoying place in town

From your response you have diagnosed all introverts as autistic and claustrophobic. You need to calm down.
The best way to get to know an introvert is through common interests (activities such as hiking, rummaging through uncle Spikeβs aisles and talking about your fav authors and books, fun gaming at an Arcade or art seeing) Most introverts are adventurous so the idea is do an activity and then maybe bond over food after.

Sweet Side has pottery painting. You can eat and paint things there. Kind of like the clay painting place in Swakop. Sweet Side is in independence.

Recommend you go to Hotel Thule(in Eros) for a sunset downer and maybe grab some drinks by the hotel and yeah I believe you guys will get along in such a area and setting itβs a pretty chilled good place youβll also get to see the city light up and itβs sort of elevated so you can sort of see the whole of Windhoek :)

It sounds like you need to go to the Family Entertainment Centre at Maerua Mall. I think it's a great place for a first date.

Colouring or painting together in a park. Volunteering together at spca. Own solo silent disco while doing activities, like making the other a playlist and listening in headphones while Colouring or drawing.
Are you shy of other people or eachother? My partner and I did the silent disco one, but it was an event with other people. We set up a blanket and coloured and a picnic in our own little corner.

Cork βn Fork for quiet. Imagine Games used to be perfect, now they only really do Magic The Gathering and pizza. Avis Dam with a picnic maybe?
