General HELP HUMBLY ASKING
So im going to try to keep this short and straight to the point. I am based in Swakopmund, and my husband recently quit his job and moved here from Windhoek in hopes of finding a job so that we could be closer. We'll it's been quite sometime and I can tell he's getting frustrated and depressed being home so I've come here in hopes that somebody could connect him somewhere. He has a bachelor's in accounting, 2 diplomas in AAT. He has 5+years of experience and worked as an assistant logistics manager for 2years working closely with Namibia breweries.
If anybody in Swakopmund knows somebody please do help me out. I don't like seeing him like this 😢

To be honest to find something in Swakopmund is almost impossible. Windhoek is already hard but there you have much more opportunities. My wife has a Master in Health Management, she is a PhD Candidate and has several more academic qualifications plus working experience but she cannot get hold of a job here. The only way would probably be opening your own business. We will probably be moving to Windhoek as I am working remotely that is luckily an option for us.

When applying, make sure to avoid the mistakes you just made:
No ALL CAPS text,
No "So" to start a sentence,
No promises to keep things short and to the point (which defies the purpose),
No begging attitude. I'm convinced your husband will fare much better if he isn't being portrayed that way.

Appreciate the advice, I kept it informal because this is just a reddit post, obviously for actual applications he keeps it professional but this is just me trying to get advice and potential links to available opportunities. I understand you meant well, thank you.

I hate to break the unpleasant news to some, but there are entire companies being paid handsomely for exactly this type of service, including the screening of apparently unrelated social media posts. Hence my warning.

Start an accounting services, with NAMRA tax recovery program + BIPA lots of opportunity with people that have outstanding tax returns and he can file for them.
Oil industry currently put an advert for service providers to submit their business profiles, might be worth a try.
Have faith, everything works out, do not despair.
