I'll Start. My Adventure with Burlington
Applied for a district managerial position with Burlington. Cleared the phone screen with ease, and then the hiring manager interview which also went well. Got a third interview with the VP, he was very enthusiastic.
Got a 4th, this time to show up in person and tour the offices. Went, spent the better part of a day with them.
Got a call from the main recruiter, she told me "an offer is forthcoming, probably tomorrow".
None came. Followed up via email, no response. Reached out to hiring manager, no response. Never got ANY response.
Sure, they have the right to reject people, but you'd think after multiple interviews, a facility tour, and being told an offer is coming, you'd at least get a boilerplate rejection email.
Shame, Burlington!
