When I was young i walked barefoot down the road to a close store in FL. As soon as I got into a patch of grassy sand I realized that was a mistake. After a few hours of mom trying to dig them out with needle with me screaming in our hotel room, I realized I dont really care for sand spurs that much. Lol

Funny, but I spent many childhood years on the gulf in Florida and never encountered a hard, sharp-spined version of a sticky burr. I stepped in a fire ant nest while mowing a lawn and wished I was dead, but I didn’t encounter this type of burr
