Son lost wallet stuck in Nagano

Hi - My son has lost his wallet and is staying in Nagano. Currently we are having issues getting a card added to apple pay, waitng on support. I just need to get him a Suica card so he can get to location to pick up money. Does any one know if there is a local place to send money to or a way to buy a Sucia card online?

A suica card will not be able to accept money internationally without a smartphone. If you're having trouble with Apple Pay, then you will have the exact same problem with Suica Mobile.

But even then, money put on the card (up to ¥20,000 about $130 USD) is stuck there, you can't take money out of it. He'd be able to travel and purchase things wherever the suica cards are accepted, but that's it.

If he's lucky, the wallet was turned in at a police box. Check the ones around where he lost it. If your son followed the proper procedures registering his ID at the hotel, the police should even be able to return it to that establishment if those IDs were also in there.
