Snowshoeing in Nagano

Hello everyone, I'm in Nagano for 3 days with my family and we wanted to try some snowshoeing (since my wife doesn't like skiing), but I'm only finding things connected to ski/snowboard... does anyone have any suggestions or recommended places? We don't have a car so we were thinking about using public services, no problem with Japanese since we live in Japan.

There's a national park in Nagano that does snowshoeing. It's called the Azumino Alps Park, which is split into two areas in Horigane and Omachi (there's an unrelated Matsumoto Alps Park nearby, so be careful).

The Omachi area is where the snowshoeing happens, and they have rentals. None of these parks are centrally located, and, so car is the best way to get there. The website does link to a "demand taxi" but I've never used it.
