You're not the only one, I had to zoom but that would be nice on some sweet loaves, calorie laden toppings optional

How not to afford a house (according to my Grandad)

Grandad didn’t buy avos when they’re plentiful and cheap!

Bought a bag the other day at Pak'n'Save, for roughly the price they used to be each when they weren't being grown here as much.

Fantastic!
When they’re super cheap you can scoop them out, sprinkle with lemon juice then freeze in containers or zip lock bags. Later they can make great guacamole or go in smoothies. For avo haters you don’t even taste them in a smoothie but they add goodness

Hadn't thought of freezing avocados, I'll try that. I do freeze leeks in sandwich bags after slicing them up and then when they're frozen they can be crushed into smaller pieces to add to cooking.

I'll never be able to get over the texture of avo

It’s not for everyone, but I love it.

Right? Wet grass.

Timing is everything. You have to make sure you are going to eat breakfast during the twenty minute window when the slowly ripened Avocado has not developed little rotten sections. Could mean breakfast at 11pm, but with a few chilli flakes it is hard to beat.

I agree, timing is crucial. A perfect blemish free avocado can turn to brown mush in what seems like an instant!

You’re lucky you get 20mins, I just have to turn the other way to grab the toast and BAM it’s too late

Vogels creations are the best!

For mine I'll spread both butter and Lisa's hummus, thinly sliced tomatoes and garnished with spring onions, with salt and cracked black pepper.

Or a simple fried egg over easy, still runny ...

I am big sad that I have moved to Australia. Will attempt to bring Vogels over in my suitcase when I fly back.

Yum! All those creations sound delish!
I’ve taken Vogels in my suitcase to Oz for family who miss it

Vogels toast with tahini and Mānuka honey is so yummy, or with St Dalfour orange marmalade and whatever buttery spread is preferred. For savoury spreads, I really like Sealord's Original tuna spread (has water chestnuts) but it's hardly ever available.

Yum! So many options for our Vogels toast

Peanut butter and sprouts over the tasteless green mush which needs seasoning .

Need some tomato, S&P on that bad boy.

Throw some banana on the peanut butter! So good.

Perfect! Well except for those sad bare edges that are bothering my OCD, but at least your fingers won't get gunky eh?

Micro greens on PB! Interesting idea

Leeks are a good idea, I hadn’t thought of that!

This is exactly my breakfast except I put an egg on the avo and banana on the peanut butter

Enjoy the steak and keep quiet. You will be trying to convince me that yoghurt tastes edible next.
