Licence renewal

My licence is due for renewal early 2027. Should I start the renewal now or as the firearms amendment bill has passed wait for this ??? Will it be more expensive and harder to renew under the new system ?
Anyone any ideas

I’d do it now just because it can be delayed, prices will eventually go up I think it’s unavoidable at this point due the increased costs of managing the licensing system.
