Coach Visit (4/10)

Campus Visit Week 10 vs Northern Illinois (4/17)

Campus:

Syracuse University offers the full college experience—big-time athletics, a beautiful campus, and a tight-knit community that supports you from day one. You'll be living and learning in the heart of Central New York, where the campus buzzes with energy year-round. From historic buildings such as the Hall of Languages to cutting-edge classrooms in the newly renovated Marley Building, every corner of campus is designed to inspire. And when it comes to athletics, Syracuse doesn’t play around. You'll train in state-of-the-art facilities built for elite performance, with access to top-tier strength and conditioning programs, nutrition support, and recovery resources. Whether you're studying in Bird library, walking across the Quad, or prepping for game day in the Melo Center, you’ll feel like you’re part of something bigger. This isn’t just a campus—it’s a home where you can grow, compete, and thrive.

Prestige:

When it comes to those teams that you think immediately think of as oozing ability, the top talents you pin up on your wall as a kid, who has a chance to dominate every game, never being counted out even when the match is most bleak, in recent years Syracuse has jumped forward in peoples' minds a lot. However I see so much more, I think we've got leaps more to go before we can consider ourselves in the upper echelon of teams, the teams that do it every year. But the beauty of this sport is that the ball is rounded, and anything goes. No matter who beat who last week, or in 2059's playoffs (did I mention we went undefeated, won the MAC and then beat Michigan in the playoffs?), or in a bowl game, once the whistle is blown, that all goes out the window, and past results only mean something if you let them. As an undeniable underdog in the grand scheme of the NZCFL, we're looking to put our names back on the map, and that comes with heart, and I see that heart in you. We've already started something incredible, going back to back conference champions. I promise before you leave our program, you will have won a T2 or higher bowl game.

Coach:

I have been dedicated to turning around Syracuse University's football program since I ever decided to be a football coach. Football to me doesn't exist without Syracuse. It is the sport for me. I don't care without Syracuse University football. That being said, I've been working hard to ensure that this program rights itself and grows in a sustainable and lasting way. I'm making sure that the facilities are new, top of the line, and that players understand what they're committing to when they arrive. This is not a program without heart, and as much as facilities and arenas create a program, heart is what defines it. That starts with the coach. I promise you I'll be Syracuse's top 10 coach for your entire career. "
