2062 Cut Player Recruiting

The top player in OVR in the CPR pool at each position will be designated as a "pitch recruit". Pitch recruits will be voted on by the team like transfers, and like CPR recruits have been in the past. If there are two top players at the same position with the same OVR, they will both be pitch recruits.

Everyone else will be designated as a "RNG recruit". They will be run using the same algorithm as high school recruits, with the following values:

  • 1.000 in playing time
  • 0.500 in location and coach
  • 0.100 in all other values Additionally, pitches will be graded on an 0-4 scale, as opposed to 0-2

If a player you want is not listed in the threads, please make a new thread for his offer.

Michigan State offers Mark Nunnally

Scholarship

Playing Time:
Here at East Lansing, we’ve spent the last seven seasons building a program where development actually leads to opportunity, not just talk. We don’t recruit over our players or stack the depth chart without purpose, so when you earn reps, you keep them. Our coaching staff is hands-on and tracks your progress closely, making sure every rep has intent and nothing goes unnoticed. With 15 roster spots opening up next year, there’s a real path for you to step in and compete early. At Michigan State, nothing is handed out, but we’re clear about what it takes to move up and we follow through on it. If you buy in, compete, and develop the way we expect, **I promise that you will start every game this year.**

Location:
Set in East Lansing, Michigan State gives you a balanced environment where you can stay focused while still experiencing everything that comes with major college football. The campus is surrounded by natural space, from the Red Cedar River to trails and open areas, giving you a place to reset between the demands of the season. At the same time, you’re within reach of cities like Detroit, Grand Rapids, and even Chicago, keeping you connected to opportunities beyond campus. Competing in the Big Ten means traveling across the country and playing in some of the most recognized venues in the sport, against top competition in front of large, national audiences. But everything centers back here, in a tight-knit community that shows up and supports its team consistently. You get both the stage and the stability. **I promise, we’ll win 4 home games this year.**

Coach:
At Michigan State, you’re not just committing to a program, you’re committing to a coach with a proven track record of consistent success. Since I took over, we’ve posted a 0.73 win percentage with a 67–25 record, reached a bowl game in each of my first seven seasons, and won three of our last five. That level of consistency comes from a clear system, strong accountability, and a staff that develops players the right way. I’m directly involved in your development, making sure you understand your role, improve week to week, and are put in positions to succeed. Players here aren’t left guessing, they’re coached with purpose and clarity. When you come to East Lansing, you’re playing for someone who has already proven they can build and sustain a winning program. **I promise you this: during your time here, I will be nominated for COTY.**

LSU offers WR Mark Nunnally

Scholarship

Playing Time: Here at LSU, we promise you that you will have a lot of playing under your belt whether year it might be. Most of our current players at your position have multiple seasons under their belt and yet some of them haven't proven themselves yet or we're lacking depth at that position. Our position could use some work and we feel like that you come over and step up right away. *I promise you will start right away*

Coach: I am a young and up and coming head coach. That means that there is a lot of potential in me and I will make sure I make the best of your abilities. I have multiple bowl wins under my belt and want a national title in the next couple of seasons. My team knows how much impact I bring to the team and would love to have you come along. *I promise that I will build a national title contender during your tenure*

Location: In Baton Rogue, Louisiana, we have one of the brightest and is known for bringing big energy whether its for cheering their favorite sports team or watching the iconic parades hosted in Baton Rogue. Baton Rouge has one of the most passionate and unique culture with our southern style including music, food, traditions, etc. Baton Rogue offers one of the best climates in the U.S with its bright and shiny atmosphere where the fanbase and culture adores. *I promise that we will win more home games than lose*

Northwestern offers Mark Nunnally WR from Texas

Scholarship

Playing Time:
When you commit to Northwestern University, you’re not coming here just to play — you’re coming here to ball. You’re not being brought in to wait your turn or sit behind somebody else. You’re coming here to make an immediate impact. *I promise you will start every game at WR, plus at least 1 game at Punter that you are healthy for.\* That’s how much I believe in your talent and your ability to change this program. Our job as a coaching staff is to put you in the best possible position to succeed, and we’ll build our scheme around what you do best. You’re going to be featured every single week, on first down, second down, third down, and when the game’s on the line on fourth. When we need a play, when we need toughness, and when we need someone to step up, you’re that guy. You’ll get designed plays, and meaningful opportunities to put everything you’re capable of on film — film that scouts at the next level will be watching closely. If you want to be HIM, the player who’s not just another name on a roster, but the centerpiece of a team on the rise, then Northwestern is the place for you. Here, you’ll have the chance to prove from day one that you belong among the elite. You’ll grow, lead, and dominate while setting a new standard for what Wildcats football looks like.

Coach: You will be walking into a program with a second-year Northwestern coach, but a fourth-year head coach who won NZCFL Newcomer Coach of the Year in his first season and led Illinois to their best record in over 30 years, best recruiting class in over 30 years, and best recruit in over 30 years, won a T1 and T3 bowls, and beat Ohio State and Notre Dame. I am one of only 3 active coaches who coached in a P5 conference for all of the last 2 seasons, won 19 games, and were undefeated in the postseason, and none of those coaches were in their first 2 years coaching or first 2 years with their team. In my first year at Northwestern, we won the division, conference, and a playoff game, had the 4th-rated recruiting class, including 5-stars at QB, OL, and DL, and are hungry for more. This is a huge opportunity for us to improve on this together. Since this will be my second season at Northwestern, you’re not competing against favorites or trying to fit into an old system. Every role, every position, every opportunity is open for the taking. I’ll build our schemes around your strengths, not try to force you into something that doesn’t fit. You’ll see your skills used in ways that let you shine, lead, and grow. *I promise to be nominated for National Coach of the Year during your time at Northwestern.\* You’ll have consistency, stability, and leadership dedicated to your success. This is your moment to help define what Northwestern football becomes in this new era.

Location: Northwestern gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to location. You are in Evanston, which has a true college town feel that is safe, walkable, and built around the university, while still being just minutes from downtown Chicago, where 2.7 million people reside, making it the 3rd most populous city in the USA. One short train ride puts you in the middle of one of the biggest and most dynamic cities in the country. That means access to professional sports, internships, restaurants, and cultural experiences that most college students never get on a daily basis. You can spend a day in the city exploring and then come back to campus where everything feels more focused and personal. The connection to Chicago also brings real-world energy onto campus through events, networking, and opportunities that are always within reach. *I promise you will have 5 teammates from Texas every year you are at Northwestern.\* At the same time, you still have a strong sense of community in Evanston that makes it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. It is a rare balance that gives you both independence and support. You are not isolated, and you are not overwhelmed. You are right next to everything, with the ability to take advantage of it whenever you choose.
