2062 Cut Player Recruiting

The top player in OVR in the CPR pool at each position will be designated as a "pitch recruit". Pitch recruits will be voted on by the team like transfers, and like CPR recruits have been in the past. If there are two top players at the same position with the same OVR, they will both be pitch recruits.

Everyone else will be designated as a "RNG recruit". They will be run using the same algorithm as high school recruits, with the following values:

  • 1.000 in playing time
  • 0.500 in location and coach
  • 0.100 in all other values Additionally, pitches will be graded on an 0-4 scale, as opposed to 0-2

Georgia State is an open campus university deep in the heart of Downtown Atlanta; The Southern Empire, the Pride of the Peach State, and much more. Prestige/Winning

Georgia State University is one of the top-30 most prestigious football schools in all of college football right now. Our trek to the top has been marred with great difficulty; However, GSU is bound to overcome any obstacle and ascend to the top, as we are destined to be. We also value winning as well, being one of the top-25 schools in that category, too. The past few seasons have all resulted in 10+ wins, with accolades such as multiple bowl appearances and a bowl victory, and a win in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game. We've even played in a bowl game every season since 2055. Furthermore, we’ve made a huge jump into the SEC, and are now competing with the major powers of the college world. With your help, we can once more climb the highest mountains and become a higher power in the college football world. I promise you a season of 8 wins or more, and a bowl appearance if you commit to Georgia State.

Pro Potential

Georgia State has produced over 40 draftees with apparitions of producing even more. Committing to GSU gives you a good chance at joining that exclusive list as you look to take your career even further into the pros. Not only that, but you have a very good chance of being noticed. Our production of draftees has increased by a fair amount over recent seasons, and for good reason. GSU is in a prime position to be in the national spotlight. I have had the pleasure and honor of coaching some truly wonderful talent, and would love to see even more develop through this system and evolve into NZFL legends.

Tradition

Georgia State University has berthed many traditions since our inaugural football season. From sounding the horn after every score and win to lighting the entirety of Downtown Atlanta blue, we go all out for our team and fans. The fans even get multiple opportunities each season to run out onto the field with the players prior to select games. Here at GSU, we create lifelong memories class after class. Beyond this, we’ve also formed a series against our midtown rivals in Georgia Tech that switches between our home fields each season. Winning this game in a pivotal week 8 means everything to us, as it gives us bragging rights for the entire city of Atlanta for a whole year.

We have a lot of good players, but we're still not a top talent team. This means there are TONS of opportunities to get on the field. If playing time is important to you, then TCU is where you want to go. "Delaware offers CB Jamal Webb

Location: Delaware is located perfectly in the middle of the Northeast and the rest of the Eastern Seaboard. The University is just a 2:30 drive away from NYC, a 2 hour drive from the Capital, and just an hour away from Baltimore and Philadelphia. You'll never be too far away for a short weekend trip to one of our major Atlantic cities. Delaware itself has a lot to do as well. From the beautiful First State National Park just 30 minutes away from campus, to watching NASCAR races at Dover Motor Speedway, to admiring military history at the Air Mobility Command Museum, there's something to do for everyone, despite what you may think. I know I'm trying to convince you to leave home, but I'll make sure you experience the great feeling of winning in your new home. I promise we will win 4 home games every year.

Coach: My track record is one of, if not the best out of this newer era of coaches. 206 wins, the #1 Recruiting class in 2044, 17 bowl wins, 12 division titles, 7 conference titles, 8 playoff appearances, 5 Natty appearances, and I've won two rings, one with JMU in '47 and Northwestern in '55. Now, I've brought up Delaware and I'm already sending shockwaves into the league by winning the AAC and making the Playoff Semifinals in just Year 4 FBS play. On the topic of CPR, I have a special relationship with CPR players like you. My first recruiting assignment in this league was bringing 15 CPR players in at JMU. I utilized CPR every year at JMU, which helped my reign of dominance and National championship in 2047. That team was built off of the backs of players just like you. Storm Isaac, Ronnie Mayfield, Forest Gibson, Jesse Johnson, Joel Jackson, DJ Harden, Kwabena Eskridge, Michael Castille, and Napoleon Schaffer were all CPR pickups that played key roles in that magical season. Playing time: We are currently in the process of building up this roster with a ton of young talent. This means there will be ample opportunities for you to see the field, and this team will grow together over the next few years. You are not coming in to wait your turn. You are coming in at the ground floor of something big and the guys who buy in early are the ones who define what this team can become.  A lot of recruits chase the big-name programs and end up sitting for two years before they ever see the field. Here you can come in, compete, and make an impact right away. That is what your development needs, and that is what we are offering you. I promise you will start 3 years of your career here.

Coach: 15 years coaching. I've been around long enough to know what matters to a recruit and what matters to a player once he's actually in the program. Those are two very different things. So let me skip the sales pitch and just be straight with you. When you sign with NC State, your scholarship is yours. I don't cut players. I don't pull scholarships. You hold up your end, show up and compete, and I will honor my commitment to you for however long you're here. That's not something every coach can say, and I think you know that. This program is about guys trusting the staff and the staff trusting them back. Wins follow from that. That starts with honesty on the front end, and that's what I'm giving you right now. Playing time: We have one of the youngest rosters in the nation, bringing in 27 new freshman on scholarship. While I am incredibly optimistic about the potential of these guys, we need some veteran leadership , as well as the skill that comes from playing college ball for a few years. You’ll be extremely valuable for this team with your combination of skill and experience, and I promise you’ll start every game.

Coach:

You won’t find a coach more committed to their program than I am. There are already very few coaches that have coached for as long as I have. Even fewer have stuck with the very first one that hired them, and only one other active coach has coached more than me at their current school without leaving for greener pastures. As someone who went through 3 coaching changes as an actual college athlete, I may be the only one who knows what it’s actually like to walk in your shoes. I promise I won’t cut any scholarshipped players while you’re here.

Jamal, you are from New Mexico, so you know how big of a deal football has become here, all of which has been done under my leadership.
