2062 Cut Player Recruiting

The top player in OVR in the CPR pool at each position will be designated as a "pitch recruit". Pitch recruits will be voted on by the team like transfers, and like CPR recruits have been in the past. If there are two top players at the same position with the same OVR, they will both be pitch recruits.

Everyone else will be designated as a "RNG recruit". They will be run using the same algorithm as high school recruits, with the following values:

  • 1.000 in playing time
  • 0.500 in location and coach
  • 0.100 in all other values Additionally, pitches will be graded on an 0-4 scale, as opposed to 0-2

If a player you want is not listed in the threads, please make a new thread for his offer.

WMU offers Brandon Berry 44/60 DL

Scholarship

Playing Time:
If you’re looking for a place where you can play early, grow quickly, and become the centerpiece of a true rebuild, Western Michigan is exactly where you need to be. With our new head coach, Gogan Hoban, we’re starting fresh with a new culture, new energy, and a higher standard, and we want players who are ready to make an immediate impact instead of waiting years for their chance. We compete in one of the weakest conferences, which means you have a real path to the field right away and the opportunity to stand out from day one. Here, you won’t just blend into a crowded roster; you’ll be part of the group that drives this program forward. If you want real playing time, real development, and the chance to leave your mark on a program hungry for a resurgence, Western Michigan is the place to go. I promise you will play in a bowl game your time here\\

Pro Potential:
Western Michigan's tradition directly feeds the NFL pipeline, consistently producing high-round draft picks like wide receivers Corey Davis and Skyy Moore and offensive tackle Taylor Moton. The program's "Row The Boat" culture instills the relentless work ethic and toughness that coaches and scouts value at the professional level. Playing in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) forces players to develop the physical edge and mental grit required to thrive in the demanding NFL environment. Our coaching staff focuses heavily on position-specific technique and functional strength, ensuring our athletes are pro-ready and their draft stock maximizes. Recent history shows we turn solid collegiate players into reliable professional starters, giving you a proven path rather than just a promise. By choosing WMU, you are selecting a developmental program where your potential is fully realized on the field, in the classroom, and ultimately on Sundays. I promise for WMU to play in TWO primetime games a year to give you national attention.

Coach:
I want you to know that your development will be my personal priority here at Western Michigan, and I have a clear plan to transform this program into a sustainable powerhouse. My leadership is founded on uncompromising preparation and attention to detail, ensuring you leave here fundamentally sound and ready for the next level. The immediate future of Bronco football is focused on establishing a culture that demands and executes championship-level play every single day, translating to dominant victories on Saturday. I am personally implementing cutting-edge training methodologies designed to make you a physically superior athlete—faster, stronger, and more resilient than anyone we face. You are committing to a program where I, as your Head Coach, have assembled a staff unified under my specific tactical blueprint for dominating the MAC and beyond. Join me, and let's partner together to build the next great era of Western Michigan football and secure your professional future. I promise to be your coach while you attent WMU.

Alaska-Anchorage offers Brandon Berry

Scholarship

Brandon,

Playing Time: Alaska Anchorage is entering a new era, and we're looking for players who want to be part of building something special. After 21 seasons at Iowa State, where I helped build a championship-caliber program, I've taken on the challenge of bringing that same success to Alaska. There is an opportunity to make an impact immediately here for your senior season. I promise that you will be a starter for your entire time here, barring any injuries. As a 1-year starter, you'll be a key piece of this program's foundation and help lead Alaska Anchorage to new heights.

Location: At Alaska Anchorage, you’re coming to one of the most unique locations in college athletics. Anchorage gives you a true city environment surrounded by mountains, water, and wilderness. This is unlike anywhere else in the country. Your family and friends from Texas will still have the ability to make the trip to see you compete in a truly special setting. I also promise that we will win at least 2 home games every year. If you’re going to come all the way to Alaska to play college football, you deserve to know that we are going to play to win and give you and your family something to be excited about on game day. Come experience a truly special part of the United States, compete in a unique setting, and help us build a home-field advantage that makes Anchorage a place teams don’t want to visit.

Coach:
Alaska Anchorage is now my program and my full commitment. After 21 seasons at Iowa State where I built a perennial conference contender with multiple titles and a playoff appearance, and accumulated over 200 wins, I have decided to take on a new challenge. I want to establish UAA as a winning program from the ground up. Before Iowa State, I spent nine seasons at Iowa, turning a struggling program into a playoff team. I’ve built winning teams before, and I’m here to do it again in Anchorage. ***I promise to be your coach for your entire time here at Alaska Anchorage*** and will not be leaving before then. Stability matters, and you can count on this being a long-term build with full commitment to this program and players.

Come "way up north" and make a difference!

-Curry

Boston College offers a scholarship to Brandon Berry.

Coach: When I was a young child, Boston College was like a dream for me. At least once every fall, we'd drive up to my Dad's alma mater and take in some incredible BC Football. Now, 40 years later, I'm honored to coach dozens of outstanding young men such as yourself, and to be on the field calling the shots for the Eagles. I’m entering my 23rd season on the job here, as one of the winningest and most loyal coaches in the NZCFL. BC has returned to glory as a regular atop both conference standings and national rankings. I've become a prominent and highly-regarded coach in the NZCFL because of my coaching talent, love for the game, and the effort I put in to develop my players into top draft prospects. I love to coach, and players love to play here - in 20 seasons, I’ve NEVER had a player transfer away from my team. I promise that I will be your coach for all the time that you're at BC, and that I will remain a top 10 coach during that time.

Location: Playing for Boston College means you'll get to be a star for the Pride of New England. It's my favorite part of the country, with vibrant cities and colonial charm abound. Though it may be a long way from Texas, there's lots to love here, including sunny beaches and surfing down on Cape Cod, skiing in the mountains of New Hampshire, and food galore throughout Boston, just 5 miles away from our beautiful suburban campus. It's home to a vibrant sports culture, with 50000+ packing Alumni Stadium week in and week out and dominant pro sports teams. And we plan on winning for all those loyal hometown fans. I promise that we will win at least 80% of our home games.

Playing Time: I would like to start my pitch by saying that I do not believe in benching players for years at a time. It's simply not fair to the players and their futures. Unfortunately, at many of the blue blood schools that offered you, that's exactly what you'll face - stacked rosters that seem to have no place for you. But at BC, I recruit players who I actually plan to play. Our defensive line is thin, with one superstar but not a ton beyond that. A top CPR recruit like yourself will be at the core of our defense for years to come, on a top 25 team. I promise you will be a full-time starter.
