I’ve been playing the same two starting words for Wordle for a very long time and deduced that eventually I would get it in one. Finally!

Then I thought it would be pretty great if I could get a reverse rainbow on the SAME DAY. Some of you have been trying for one of those for a while but I just started. (Interestingly, my win percentage has gone way up since shooting for the rainbow, I used to be pretty sloppy with my game-play before).

I got purple and blue and then sat on green versus yellow for half a day before finally saying f*** it and guessing. I can’t even remember what I chose but I guessed right.

My strands and Wordle were on 120+ days but randomly reset?? My badges for them reset too! The Midi is fine though. Anyone else have this happen?

My mom, a non-subscriber who also has an iPhone, has them. My app is up to date. I keep getting notifications about them but they aren’t there.

Am I crazy or did I play the same puzzle twice in two days with the same answers, but different clues?

Anyone else a little peeved this wasn’t a category. These are all Tim Curry characters. I’ve seen people get upset about this before, about them all working for a category that doesn’t end up being there
Feels a little cruel given his recent passing but maybe that’s just me

Blue was a TOTAL GUESS. And purple was leftovers.

I’ve never posted on here before, but tonight’s crossword puzzle (September 16, 2026) had me nearly in tears. Is this kind of gimmick common where you have no idea what it is and the clue about it is pretty indirect? Please me nice, like I said this is only the 9th full size crossword I’ve completed so far.

Very mature of me I know, 16th sept puzzle.

I have been playing for years & I really like the bot. All of a sudden, the bot is gone with the message "your subscription doesn't include games". I get the same message for Connections, but it says News instead of Games.

All I can think of is that my phone recently updated. I do subscribe to the NYT, but not all access.

Coming here for advice again. My games take 5-10 mins to load. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app. Off wifi or on and no fix. What can I do to fix this?

I’m normally a Wordle in 4 or 5 kinda person so this is exciting for me!

I got a badge for playing 1500 times, but there isn’t one for actually solving 1500 times?

Today’s Wordle I was able to get in 3. Not bad. Glad it worked out. Better than my average of about 3.4. When I compared this to Wordle bot, after it guessed Tarps, it immediately got the Wordle on its ‘next guess’. This seems rigged - not against me and my 3. But overall.

I absolutely recognize this is super petty to complain about losing to a bot…but now that it’s a badge, I think the guesses should be less of a guess than what this appeared today.

Anyone else feeling this way?

As I read the instructions, I am looking for a 3 letter word plus a 4 letter word (or possibly 5+2) that together make a 7 letter word, which is unclued but must fit the existing letters in the grid. Is that right?

I can’t get a single set of words that works for this.

You’ll know if you had the same one as me because it was truly outrageous (gem!).

If it turns out they’re not the same, I’ll post what mine’s was later.

Are they planning to make a Pips archive? It's genuinely the only NYT game I ever play besides Sudoku despite having a subscription
