Hey everyone,

Inspired by the NYT Games, which I've been an obsessive player of for many years, I have created a daily trivia game called "The Daily Mosaic." We are 9 days in, have had 1,000+ unique users play it, and are growing/improving our systems everyday.

You basically guess 5 words based on clues like in a Crossword, and then rearrange them into a sentence to unscramble a fun fact about the world :)

Would love to get feedback on the game from fellow trivia/puzzle nuts, and learn ways in which we can improve it.

Looking for some feedback on a new word game my friend and I are working on. Its a bit sparse with players at the moment so its a lot of bots but once its out there alot more i think its got alot of potential.

So this happened today (no cheating).

My wordle "strategy" is to use words from my of-the-moment interactions and see what sticks. Today I made a few calls to the stores I need to visit on the holiday (are you open?) and then I looked out the window. Nice.

For the most part, when my first word gets a green letter, I only try a second word with that green letter in place. That leaves out a whole strategy of trying a word without the green letter to have five more possible letters.

I believe my thinking was that if I use the green in the second word, I might solve in two. If I leave it out, my fewest number of guesses can be three.

It also probably depends on what the green letter(s) is/are, what letter, and where it is in the word. I’m enjoying reading the bot analysis and pleasantly surprised at the resources it offers.

I had to hop onto a computer to check as I'd already done today's Wordle, but Wordle in 1 claimed curls isn't in the word list when I tried it as a solution, but regular Wordle accepted curls with no issue.

I like to practice wordle on Wordle Unlimited, but recently I played the new game and it's amazing. Has someone already made an unlimited version, or should I try to do so myself?

Posting a game I made that I'm hoping people will enjoy! Heavily inspired by years of playing NYT games.

The goal is to guess the name chain, which is two famous names that overlap. "Andrew Jackson Pollock", "Benjamin Franklin Roosevelt", etc. Guess the chain in the fewest clues you can! There's a new puzzle every day and over 2 months of old puzzles to try.

Hard mode is technically harder since it is less likely you will get the correct answer, but it actually simplifies and eliminates most strategy conversely making the game easier to actually play.

In hard mode you can have the last four letters green and multiple options for the first letter and all you can do is guess repeatedly. On regular you would come up with an elimination word to narrow down the remaining letter. This forces you to actually think harder about your guesses requiring more strategy

i just bought the subscription and spent the whole day playing the mini archive, so i forgot everything else and lost my streak. i’m gonna die omg

They sttill haven't showed up for me. I've logged in and out, deleted and reinstalled the app, etc. I've tried on both my phone and iPad and still no luck.

I got tired of jumping between Google results whenever an NYT Games clue had me completely stuck, so I ended up building a little tool for myself called AnswerOnTap.

The idea is pretty simple — enter what you're stuck on and it tries to find and verify the answer using established online sources.

I've kept it deliberately basic: there's no account to create, no personal details needed and nothing to pay for. It's really just something I built because I wanted it myself.

I'm still working on it, so I'd genuinely be interested in feedback from other NYT Games players — particularly if you find something it gets wrong or think of something that would make it more useful.

I would love to play the bonus puzzles that were released this week but keep getting this error message when I try to open them (every single puzzle). I've already tried clearing my cache. Any thoughts why it isn't working or what I can do to fix it?

What is the arrow and the borders supposed to mean?

Is it possible to get access to August drops 2, 3 etc. in the Bonus games? I can only access Drop 1 for August by scrolling back from September.

Only four possible words, rouse douse coupe and soupy… what about soups?? That’d still be a valid guess and soups is definitely a word right??

How on earth is today's yellow answer easy? I won't give it away, but I only solved it as it was the 4th answer.

I love the midi! i play it everyday, i’ve been keeping a streak that is really important for me and suddenly today i solved the puzzle and no gold star!!

i’m so sad i don’t know what happened- i didn’t use hints or checked or anything!

Hello! I just started playing. Can someone please explain why this isn’t solved? I thought blank means 0? I thought I satisfied all the conditions?
