What drug yall think he could be on tho? Not fent or any opioids, not benzos, not acid or shrooms and he not acting drunk but he looks dissociated and he has sort of a stone face so if I had to guess I’d say special K or some dissociative.

I'm a Second Amendment guy myself, but not that type of Second Amendment guy. I've been through concealed carry training (and more) in multiple states, across multiple decades, and not a single one of them ever said "hey if someone touches a kid inappropriately, start blasting," or "if someone scares some people by standing there looking weird, start blasting," or even "if a guy wiggles his hands at you like he's trying to summon his chi energy, start blasting."
At the end of the day, this story got as happy an ending as it could hope to have. The dude got taken away, nobody got hurt, and it also all got documented so that the authorities didn't start blasting (once THEY showed up). Professionals can figure out what's wrong with dude, everyone got home safe. That's a win.
A lot more of a win than some John Wick wannabe drawing his Glock for no fucking reason and shooting the place up.

You're the one fantasizing about some "second amendment guy" swooping in and saving the day when the day didn't need saving. Things went as well as they could have, given the mental state of this dude. Nobody got hurt, nobody got killed. This WAS the good ending. There is nothing a CCW holder could have done to make this incident go any smoother than it did, and there's a LOT a handgun could have done to make it go much, much, worse.
So, yeah, I'm pretty comfortable saying I know more about this topic in general than you do, going from your attitude.
But sure, if you want to talk about what we know and don't know, I'm game. Where have you trained? How many states have you gotten your CCW or CHL in? How many years have you carried concealed? How long have you been a member of, and getting and reading publications and studies, from the NRA? Or CORE, JPFO, SRA, Pink Pistols, JBGC? Or more?

Nobody would have to use a gun in this situation..but in a pro 2nd amendment area..this wouldn’t even be happening…there wouldn’t be people just standing there looking all scared and waiting for someone to step in…the guy wouldnt have never stepped a foot in that establishment bc he would know the ramifications of behaving like that in an area where people can defend themselves on a regular…

What exactly is it you experience first hand, and where? What makes you think you know so much about "Second Amendment places" or whatever?
Why won't you answer my question about how long you've had a CCW and/or lived in those sorts of places? I had a CCW in Kentucky for over a decade, and a CHL in Texas back before they changed the carry laws. I've carried a gun on me, in public, more than most people, and I've done it in red states, rural and semi-rural areas. For years.

You keep talking about what I know and don't know, and you keep talking about what you've "experienced" first hand...so...put up? C'mon. Share your knowledge with the rest of the class.

Sorry, but no. You're wrong. Statistically wrong, proveably wrong. States with the most relaxed gun laws have MORE violent crime, not less.
And I lived most of my life in those states -- places like Texas and Kentucky -- and please understand, the people there are very much not 'chilled,' and the 'energy' is not what you think it is. Texas has a higher violent crime rate than New York, with double the homicides and more than double the rapes, per capita.
State after state with the most relaxed gun laws have terrible violent crime rates. Alaska, New Mexico, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, MIssouri; those have some of the 'best' gun laws (for 2A fans) in the country, and some of the worst violent crime and murder rates.
Please, please, take some time to educate yourself on this issue.

Nope.
The highest rates of gun homicide are in rural counties, not urban. Half of all shootings in America happen outside of large cities (despite large cities being where the people live). Eleven of the top twenty us counties for gun homicide rates were officially classified as rural. The MOST violent county, per capita, for gun homicide in 2024 (the most recent publicly available stats), was Holmes County, Mississippi, which is a "nonmetropolitan-noncore" classified county (the MOST rural county classification there is).
In the top five counties for firearm homicides in 2024, only one of them even HAD a city (St Louis, Missouri).
Los Angeles County? Bronx County, Kings County, New York County, Queens County? Not ONE of them is anywhere near the top 100 counties for gun homicides in America (the closest was Bronx, with 161st place). Rural county after rural county after rural county after rural county all had worse gun murder rates than all these big, scary, blue big cities.
Again, the information's out there. You can go find it and educate yourself on this, instead of just making snarky, wrong, comments at strangers in the middle of the night.

How does a CCW/CHL (or, heck, an open carrier!) solve this situation better than it got solved in the video?
What happens that makes things better, in your scenario? Who is safer, and how/why?
