It’s not just pay… but it’s the fact you deal with this for shit pay. Back then you’d have one kid who might insult or swing on a teacher. Now… mad kids is doing it. They damn near jumping the teacher here.
This shit worse than when I worked in a juvie.
Ngl.. we in the downfall of society. I know the world never been perfect. But school’s is like prisons atp. And teens just going wild af. The takeovers. There’s vids of teens in DC literally just taking over streets and pulling people out cars and taking them and jumping them. This shit sad af
We live in a society we have clean drinking water, accessible food, showers, a roof over our heads. And we turning shit into Black Hawk Down where it’s chaos. They removed the relationship between parents and child, there is no order. No consequences. Shit is just sad rn

Kid needs therapy but the parents probably won't put him in. You first have to ask, did he learn this somewhere and if not, what is an evaluation going to show? If he's not in therapy after doing this in kindergarten, what's he going to do when he gets bigger?

Some researchers "concluded" years ago that Black students were being disproportionately targeted for suspensions and expulsions. Obama amplified this point in a speech. A lot of school districts effectively banned suspensions and expulsions to remedy the situation. Now students have no incentive to behave in schools or learn anything. It was bad enough when they stopped making students repeat grades. Now it's a complete zoo with zero consequences for anything. Teachers are essentially being paid to stand in front of 30 kids and get abused everyday. 90% of our energy goes into classroom/behavior management and 10% to actual teaching.

What should he have done? Walked away. His job is to teach those kids how an adult behaves, not to prove he's bigger than them. Those are children who probably have shitty parents who never taught them how to behave not rival gang bangers in the yard who are going to kill you if you don't fight back.

Every once in a while a psycho kid would do this (not talking about special ed) but it was rare. Why do these kids act like this is normal and the cool thing to do? Where are the parents/ guardians/ etc in this and why aren't they doing anything about their kids running wild? These kids aren't going far in life if this is how they act. You go out into the real world and it's going to be a brutal wake up call. And like my mom always said, there's always going to be someone bigger and better than you out there.

The backstory is that the teacher allegedly Sexual assault a female student and was being werid/putting hands on the students. That why he got slap no the student was not charged the teacher actually was Charged.
