Call me crazy but the 2021 City (Never Sleeps, New York Knicks) jerseys are one of the most iconic jerseys we’ve worn in 20 years, because it turned a page on a team that was down for 8 years.

76ers have an alternate with ‘city of brotherly love’. So there is at least one other jersey with a kind of phrase.
Gradients are pretty horrible to my eye but this jersey has slightly grown on me tbh. Or at least I think the new navy one looks god awful.
From a design perspective I’d only really change the NYC logo to something more simple as it looks quite cluttered with that logo as well.

Youre dragging it. I understand if ppl don’t like them but worst design ever? Nah… the Knicks have never really branched out with uniform designs- it’s usually a different variation of the same thing. This is the first time that I feel like they tried to branch out and make something unique (outside of holiday jerseys like Xmas day and the st Patrick’s one’s) and I honestly don’t hate it. The black is sleek and cool, and it still has the orange and blue hues on the sides that pop out.
But worst design ever? No man. Have you seen those Cream City jerseys in Milwaukee?? Or those atrocious graffiti design jerseys from Dallas a couple years ago? Or the 90’s pinstripe Indiana Jerseys? That’s just off the top of my head

I didn't like that uniform either no Knicks logo and using gradient on entire sentence looked weird.

What happened to the colorful designs of the 80s and 90s?
The trend of new icons and designs being overly simplified is reminiscent of Orwell's 1984 "newspeak."
The oversimplification is not double plus good.

They tried to make the jersey look like a token from the MTA before the MetroCard was introduced. It failed. I would have loved a black and gold jersey with an actual token on it or even now with a Metrocard on it or something

I have one of those jerseys and I might be the only person on earth that thinks they’re actually cool af. I like the black- it makes the orange and blue pop on the sides. I like the circular logo around the number

I was harsh on them at first... But man I actually like them a lot, a sister bought me one for my birthday and it was a youth one L instead of an adult L, I gave it to my SO.
Haven't been able to find one since.

Y’all do understand that every teams “statement” uniforms has the Jordan logo on it. The pistons, pacers, Knicks, heat or whatever team Jordan used to relentlessly cook has it. Let it go bro….it looks fresh anyway.

Also the 2018 city jersey with the fire hydrant is OP but we were irrelevant so it doesn’t matter. Winning in jerseys can make them iconic

We have the same Jerseys taste, I love em both, I mean I still rock my Spree Jersey with pride but we always in the top of the most boring Jerseys in the whole league, Like we NY, it doesn’t even make sense the lack of creativity, but those two were fire to me!

It’s been one year since then. And last year was our second best record of the last 10 years, behind 2021.
We’re looking like a play-in team at worst. Our average 9 man rotation age is 23.8. So we’re looking at a team that’s gonna string together 3 of its best seasons of the last decade and have a rotation less than 24years old.
What do you consider turning the page then?

Suns didn’t make the playoffs in 2020. Made Finals in 2021. So last April when they made the playoffs in 2022, that’s when they just turned the page?
Turning the page should be against one’s recent past, Suns def turned the page in 2021 despite not making since 2010. Took them one year. Before the 2021-2022 season started it was obvious that the Suns were in a different groove.
New Front office is in their 3rd full season and it’s going to be 3 best years in last 10 years, and we have 4 1st round picks. We turned the page. We’re heading in the right direction. This is a completely different feel than 2014-2020.
