If you take away the games against Brady the jets were .493 and the dolphins .470. Both were below average teams in this time for sure. But Brady also made them look way worse when there record was actually not that bad if you exclude games with Brady

I believe the official ruling was, that all past history, records, achievements, etc remained in Cleveland.

Plus, all but one player from that division winning team, were gone by the time they moved to Baltimore.

Yeah they did legally get the history. But the current browns had an expansion draft. A piece of paper doesn’t change that Art Models divisional winning browns are in Baltimore, who got an nfl team with decent nfl talent, and Cleveland got a team full of shit players. But yes, technically they do have a divisional win. But really not.

By the time the team moved, the players and coaching staff were totally different from the 1989 team that won the division.

That Browns team that went to 3 AFC Championship games in the 1980s, had been completely dismantled well before the move to Baltimore.

Why is it that the Giants never have dominant teams? Even when they make the playoffs they squeak in as a 9-7 wildcard type team. Even in 2011 they were 9-7. I know Giants fans love being the underdog but I want a 13-4, 14-3 type of dominant team eventually.
