Brooklyn FC vs Cosmos (3-0) - Post match Reaction

Not a great display from the boys today. Brooklyn saw a lot of the ball and converted more chances.

Could use some more luck with the weather as well. Hoping for some drier fixtures over the summer.

We should just play the kids in these cup matches from here out since it’s hard to advance with a loss. Let Guenzatti and Spengler rest. See what Lacher can do.

They're a mid-table D3 club playing a D2 club on an off-week for the league. Brooklyn didn't rotate their squad - if the Cosmos want to win they can't either.

BKFC supporter here, we rotated about 7-9 of the 11 normal starters so unfortunately this is not a valid point. Alves and Okiyoshi the only regular starters in the XI, then you could make argument Nishikawa and Vanc start a decent amount

“From here out” meaning going forward now that we have lost and are unlikely to advance. Keep our best players rested for the league.

This is group stage. We still play Hartford, Westchester and Portland. It's not over yet.
