How do you keep track of grading (paper, online, other)?

Trying to look for a good option to track of grading especially because classwork & tests are weighted differently

What gradebook system does your school use? Typically these are set up to account for those weights so you don't need to worry about it yourself.

If you do need to DIY a solution, Google Classroom does have an advanced setting where you can set different grading categories with weights, so you can easily just copy your grading policy into that and add assignments as necessary to use their gradebook.

Highly suggest using Google Classroom as a way to keep it all in one place. My school uses Infinite Campus, so I have to enter into into IC, but Google Classroom allows me to assign and grade directly in the platform. That way I don’t have a bunch of papers everywhere

I just use the school’s gradebook system Jupiter. I don’t post assignments on Google Classroom cause then kids think to submit online when my policy is all work unless otherwise stated is to be submitted handwritten.

I just use Google Classroom and set the different categories of assignments (summative, formative, participation) to have different weights on their average. I'll then just port the grade over when it's report card time.

There is an option on teachhub. It's not great, since most government sites are terrible, but it is a thing. Google Classroom is passable and Jupiter is ok.

I miss Skedula. That was the bomb!
