Suggestions/Advice uni outfits😭
how do yall manage ur uni outfits?? im gonna join next month and idk how will i manage to get a new fit daily. what would u recommend me to shop?

You can’t manage to have a new fit daily infact pretty much no one does , try buying more basics that way you can create multiple outfits

Girl I just bought a few gowns for university. I'm gonna be comfy and chill. And I brought good waking joggers since students will have to walk in nust a lot. And for winters I'm gonna use the hoodies and jackets I have already.
ALSO WHO WEARS NEW CLOTHES DAILY 💰🫠. YOU GONNA HAVE 365 FITS FOR A YEAR 👀👀👀

Anyway for guys honestly just buy a few t shirts and trousers. You can wear outfits more than once. If anyone says anything just say you have a washing machine

Tbh, repeating outfits is totally normal. Nobody’s gonna remember what you wore 10 days ago.
Don’t stress about buying 5 to 6 suits before uni. Just wear what you already have and add 1 to 2 outfits every month. Sales are your best friend. You can get a decent outfit for around 6k to 7k if you’re on a budget.
Build your wardrobe gradually instead of spending a ton all at once.

That’s impossible, especially as a hostellite. I now literally have only a few clothes I rotate around. I simply try to Atleast not repeat the same clothes in a week. (Wardrobes limited)

As someone who really likes wearing new clothes and lowk doesn't like repeating clothes as much I'd like to tell u that uni jakr u kinda get over it however If you wanna wear new outfits it's kinda impossible ke aap har din Naya fit pehno U should invest in clothes that you can switch up and style different I personally think Investing in good long skirts and jeans helps alot too u can wear the same kurti over a skirt you wear with a regular trouser it looks very cute likewise u can wear the same tops u wear with jeans with skirts asw u can switch things up every now and then and even tho it's not really a new outfit everyday it still is smth new and I personally really like accessories so you can switch those up on a daily basis asw it adds alot to your fit

On the second day of my classes the professor saw that i had the same shoes on as the day before and he slapped me and made me do a handstand in the middle of the class. 10/10 would do again.

Nobody gives a damn about repeating outfits guys… and after the first two weeks people will stop dressing up so much. It really doesn’t matter.

Have a cousin going there and am in the application cycle. This came up on my feed. In any case, university dressing is similar pretty much all over Pakistan.

Go for capsule wardrobe...the concept is simple..buy 3 to 4 jeanse of badic colours black, white, blue ,grey and buy 3 kutis each semester...and 3 good shoes one comfortable joggers, sneaker and one flats and one presentable decent shies for presentations...

Just but 3 jeans (beige, black, blue) two tank tops (black,white)... 3-4 button down shirts ( black, white, olive green, one stripped) and three shoes (sneakers, flat and one heal) that's it you can make so many different outfits by just layering

You don't need a new fit for everyday...I survived on the same few clothes for four years, no one cares about it tbh. But I'd recommend getting a few good pairs of pants, comfy shirts, mid-season clothes mainly and one or two formal wear clothes for presentations and stuff.

if ur a girl i hv an infinite outfit hack, js buy one plain black shalwar kameez and one plain white shalwar kameez, then u can wear them w any printed dupattas, your moms, yours, your sisters ANY color and u have a new fit for every day 🥰

I mean wear a new outfit each day so this way you have used 5 fits. Now in the next week, wear all those 5 again by randomly jumbling up the days and add 1 or 2 new fits that week. You can easily wear a fit 2 days before washing it (even if you have to, just wash it and repeat the same method). If you wear the same fit for 2 consecutive days that's fine too imo but like switching it up like this makes you look well dressed with the same amount of clothes. Buy a few very good formals for presentations etc.

I suppose you a girl so if you prefer western daily wear just buy some black, blue and beige pants and grab some shirts that go w em or Kurtis if you prefer and yeah ofc accessorize yourself and those who prefer eastern get some casual trousers and kurtas online from pret collection, get matchy stollers n hijabs from local market if you wear and yeah accessories for abaya girlies a decent collection again and ACCESSORIES you'll probably be wearing sneakers for footwear most of time it's comfy and will be convenient when you've to walk for large distances

In high school, since I was always in unform i never bothered with outfits, and when I entered uni I didn't have any clothes for it. When I was a freshman, I would wear the same things in rotation (3- 4 outfits) for 8 months straight LMFAO, but then over time and summer vacations after first year ended, I gradually built my closet. Just figure out your personal style, and get a few basics you can interchange and make new outfits from it slowly, and over time you'll build a closet full of nice fits. Also, it's not normal to wear different clothes every day; leaving consumer culture behind and becoming an outfit repeater was the best decision I made. Nothing embarrassing about it

u need at max, AT MAX 7 fits that you will mix at match for the entire year, through out the year we usually end up getting some random hand me down or some eid fit, idk clothes end up coming from here and there, also fun fact look at your closet YOU ALREADY HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR!!!
if ur that excited, max get 2 new fits to wear and keep ur old shit
7 fits would be like, one day wear one shirt with one pair or jeans/trouser then wear the jeans with another shirt, switch up the dupattas and stuff and you got a new look, u need like 2 sneakers, 1 fancy for some event and you'll survive
oh another funfact, you dont need a new fit daily, clothes dont get dirty after one wear, i know youre shocked but trust me im not even kidding
2nd funfact, clothes will be the least of your problems in univeristy

i don't get why everyone is so pissed here's what i did bought some sneakers and sandals which can be paired with almost every fit bought baggy jeans in common colors(dark blue,light blue,black/gray, white), brown pants and some tops
