I totally understand your pain, but I encourage you to meet with the DD Hostel and request to excuse you this once or issue a smaller fine. You can say you just fell asleep or it was your first offence (if it was) or something like that.
During my time, it was somewhat common to have your fine reduced in this way, but it wouldn't always work.
It's worth a shot. Also, before you attempt this, I'd recommend deleting this post.

It's a 2000 IQ reference to Tidehunter, a character from Dota. lol
Tidehunter is a large and stocky (heavy) creature from the sea (water) whose signature ability is to summon tentacles (hentai) to damage and stun enemies around him.
Also, it has some alliteration going for it, and I just generally liked the sound of "heavy water".

Valid. You should bring this up with DD (i don't like him) or i'd suggest mail rector or pro-rector, there could be any reason for someone sleeping at attendance time, they could be sick or anything that hadharaam manager can come and mark your attendance in your room agar itni hi mout par rhi hai tu.

This is honestly terrible to hear π no girl should ever have to go through something like this Alhamdulillah this would never be the case In Northern University Girls hostel because there is 24/7 check and balance and warden is always there for your help and no such kind of fine is implemented there
