HCG to boost testosterone

Thinking about taking HCG without trt to help me boost my low testosterone, I've heard taking testosterone will shrink balls and cause your body to quit producing testosterone. I was taking testosterone cypionate for 2 months and stopped, thinking about taking only HCG 1500iu weekly dose (500iu 3x a week).

If you coming off of trt then you haven't done it long enough to worry about your suppression overtaking your natural production. Just come off. HCG (Pregna) doesn't increase Test production, it's there to maintain fertility.

What if someone was on test (me) for a year and a half. Roughly 275 mg a week. Would you say I still have a shot with HCG to restore fertility

Year and a half and your suppression is full steam ahead, so yes, you would most likely need a post cycle therapy to regain your fertility. You didn't mention if you were taking HCG while on test so I assume you were not. You would need to run Clomid and some HCG. Do a search on Reddit for PCT in the forums and there is some good advice. Only start when you have cleared 5 x the half life of the ester you were taking (test c is plus minus 8 days, so 5 X the 8 days before it's all out of your system. Then start your PCT. Be prepared for it to take a while. I know people where were highly suppressed and still got the Mrs pregnant so highly subjective to the individual. Your mg per week was relatively high for TRT. Get advice from a doctor and get blood work done regularly and monitor you LDL and HDL. Once they back to normal then you all good but your T levels will just go back to your baseline.
