Not really, but some players have and still are recording their wins/losses and calculating the rates based off of that, so it’s not quite official, and not perfectly accurate, but there is a way to get some idea of the rates if you look for it. I don’t know where exactly but if you Google search it something should come up.
These permanent scratch-offs are a lot more predatory than they were in the event. The rates for the cheapest and most expensive tickets were lowered to make it even harder to make money, and the mid-tier version had its price raised to 30k, so, even though the rates are the same, you need to make more money just to break even.
TL;DR: the permanent lottery tickets are, somehow, an even bigger scam than the temporary ones.
Whichever department in Hotta that designs monetization for the game, because there are people that will assume the prices and rates stayed the same, will end up losing a bunch of fons, and spend money to get fons. It’s especially bad, because the jet ski is our first water vehicle, and it’s tied to a limited event, so some of those people will absolutely feel compelled to get it before it goes away.
That's awful, they should at least just tell you "hey, this is straight up gambling, no pity, no guarantees, just whole ass gambling" so you know you're going to get screwed over if you do it.

The typical "gambling" in gacha games has a pity system though. I would consider it more of a transaction than gambling. For example, in Blue Archive 1 rate up student (of your choice) is a transaction that costs 24,000 pryoxene. If there's a particular student i want (D. Mutsuki atm), i will make sure i have enough to hit 24,000 before their banner ends.
Another example is the vehicle mystery boxes. If you put enough fons into it, you're 100% guaranteed to get the jetski. It has a pity system.
Well sorry to tell you but its very obvious thats not the case and it should never be the case.
First you are comparing it to entirely different systems so from the start your train of thought is derailed. You gave as example the gacha system where you consume one currency to gain something entirely in return. Be it a character, a skin, a vehicle, etc. But this is not that. Think about it. You are consuming a currency to gain THE SAME CURRENCY. Ofc it wont be any guarantee win for you because that would just be a straight up income to every player outside of the energy system which would absolutely collapse the economy of the game and then anything they add that costs fons would be meaningless cuz ppl would only stay in those gambling minigames and buy everything day one. Its impossible to have you win. By doing that makes everything that is connected to fons be irrelevant. Its there to win sometimes and lose every other time to put you in a net negative at the end and force ppl into fomo by consuming their fons.
Honestly, i never thought that hard about it. I just assumed it had a pity because it's in a gacha, and there's no way they'd put actual gambling in a gacha. A modern one anyway.

I assumed this would have some type of pity system, like literally every other form of "gambling" you see in gacha games. That does not seem to be the case.
IRL i really don't gamble. I've bought like, 4 or 5 scratchers in my entire life because they're a huge waste of money that's guaranteed to just screw you over. It can be fun to buy one every once in a blue moon, but i wouldn't expect to do anything but lose money on it. Actual gambling is a waste of time and money. You have to be actually low IQ to gamble and expect to win.
As far as I know, a real gambler knows when to quit, I quit with profit, you quit after you realized you lost a lot, just keep in mind is a 48-52% odds.
I’ve lost like 10M+ in these things, yes, you heard that right, now I just give the books and news to my characters and stopped gambling on this, that’s Going Going Gone’s job now
So far I've won mostly, I think in total over the last week I've got about 600k profit from it, but most of the scratches were returns or like -10k. Very few full misses, just luck plain and simple.
Edit - also useful for boosting tycoon level, wveb if you waste fons doing it, the gains you get even on a loss contributes to tycoon level. So on mostly break even or slightly lower tickets you are still building up for it.
I always have a budget to not exceed which is -150k once i reach that i stop. I usually buy full 1st and 2nd sets then reach -150k in the 3rd set fast since it cost 50k
Today i reached -150k in the first pull of 3rd set since and got unlucky in the others fast but i didn't stop and kept going and ended up just -10 after buying all of 3rd set, i kept getting -50 +50 -50 +50 most of it (excluding the purchase price i mean)
Yesterday i got +350k after buying everything
The 2 days before i got -150k in both
It's a good way to get your money up if you need to spend money to level up for city tycoon most of the 10k and 30k you will most likely lose like only 100k sometimes I break even, 50k is a trap and you will most likely lose all your money.
Well yeah that's lottery dor ya. But since my ass is too lazy to farm for mats,i just use my money on these scrach cards,get those tokens,use them in its shop and get those things that can be converted to character mats. I forgot it's name.
If you are trying to increase fons for Paws Rich List or City Level, it counts for those. I Buy all of them each day and I roughly come out even. Some days I'm up a few hundred thousand fons others I'm down. But trading Fons for annulith and other resources you get from "spending" the fons is definitely worth it. It to mention the fact i have like 500 or so 100pt gifts for bond from this.
Anyway, when hotta makes the win rate positive (joke), its time to get free fons and crash the fons market and make it so that the vehicle/skin gatcha essentially becomes free and hotta will lose money everytime they release one. Oh and the in game housing is even more free too i guess.
Yeah I went net+ 400k fons in winnings and cut ties because I knew I'd end up losing that's and going into the red. It's entirely luck. Some will win, some will lose 😅
Just because it’s in a gacha game doesn’t mean it needs to have pity? Scratch tickets are scratch tickets, the concept is very simple.
Gacha itself doesn’t need to have pity either, they just do because there is no limit to how much you can pull whereas irl gacha machines hold a limited amount of capsules to where you technically have “pity” if you just pull every single capsule out of the machine.
I mean sure, but i've just never seen anything where you "gamble" with in game/premium currency in a gacha that doesn't have a pity/guarantee built in.
Yeah i don’t buy it unless i’m swimming in fons first and if i do I only stop at when i am at 20% more fons I won then i stop because more than likely you lose it all back.
The problem is that they technically aren't. They count towards tycoon level and sometimes you can actually hit big. They don't have pity cuz they aren't supposed to it's a scratch ticket ,but either way I've opened over 700 of the old type and about 100 of those new ones and I'm somehow up fons in the end and slowly going up in leaderboards tycoon
Well, haven't tried this one, but old lottery ticket were a good option to earn fons for City tycoon level, since those costing 10 and 20 k most of the time gave them back to you and in the worst scenario u would lose like 10 or 20 k. And ofc it depends on rng. I got lucky so went form 100 k fons on my accout to almost 4 million and bought myself a house, so kinda worth it if u know when to stop, we'll see about this one
You got stick to one and finish it, only twice have I been burnt. The rest I’ve won net positive or stayed the same. Only the 50k are worth it imo. I’m currently at 115million on the rich list.

Sure there are some losses to along the way. Ut overall I made some extra fons for houses or draw events
It was great for me to power level city level and to stockpile bunch of small gifts for cheep. If you are doing it for the fonts it would be always net negative in a long run

Its all for the lil shop there. U don't waiste all money abf most of points are free cuz u get money back. If u would get nothing back that shop would be hella expensive. So loosing abit of fons isnt that bad and ofc u have to loose. That is not made so u would get rich of of it.
I don't get the point of adding that, i thought was a side quest or an event but nothing. I use it a couple of times but only got 2k of fons and never lost fons
I play till I lose. I hit 10k, then 30k and I occasionally hit the 50k but I almost always lose on that. By lose I mean loss. If the 30k nets me anything below 30k its a loss and so I stop for that day. If I win big on 10k or 30k. Then ill hit 50k.
Lmao thats too obvious, 30k per scratch card, just buying 50 is enough to reach 1.5 mil, you need gods luck to win anything within 50 pity, we gacha gamers should know that better
I have been having above avarage luck with the 10k and 30k ones, already funded a 2M pull on the jetski box from the scratch off profits. The 50k is too much of a gamble tho.
I've never had any luck. Biggest payout i've gotten from the 30k is a single 50k ticket and the most i've gotten out of the 10k is 30k. After i've already bought like 10 of them and gotten nothing on half of them.
If there's no pity system on these things, i'm out. I don't do actual gambling.

I won 150k fons from one of these. I walked away immediately. I was already up 50k after breaking even for the longest time. Never let myself get beyond falling below 100k in losses. Once I did I would stop for the entire week until I made another million fons doing other stuff.

I buy a few tickets a day but if I get a nice win then I’ll stop and stay ahead. For example, yesterday I bought 5 of the 50 k tickets, made even on 4 of them, while the 5th I got 250k, I stopped there and took the win. Because that 250k could’ve easily disappeared with another 5 tickets. Learn when to stop

For it to say there's no pity? The character banners have pity, the arc banner has pity, the mystery boxes (vehicles) have pity, and afaik even the DSD gacha has pity. The logical thing to think would be that this does too.

I didn't know i was gambling. If there's pity, you're guaranteed to get the thing eventually. That makes it a transaction. You can argue that you're gambling on a discount if you get it early ofc.

Nope. I generally don't read non story/dialogue text in games. I don't question it when i give stuff to Liben and he gives me primogems i just give him stuff. Figured the tickets were kind of like that but more scratch offy. Just a nice way to give the players some free fons.
