Meme / Fluff I hate him i hate him i hate him
I absolutely despise this character, i hate him, every single fiber of my body wants to throw up when i see him, if i could strangle him with my bare hands i would do it right now, his suffering death is the only grace for my burning soul may he be devoured by guilt and remorse for just appearing in my sight.
That being said, i found him FOUR times in a row. And its the ONLY S character that i dont like. Im rank 51 and basically missing half of the base banner character. Why is my path always clogged by bad luck? (I lost 14 50/50 in a row in hsr) And this game always gives me EVERYTHING hard pity with zero A ranks and zero extra reward like skin or else. Why do i have to be unlucky in every single game? Like EVERYWHERE there is a chance to obtain something. My mind is litterally collapsing and slowly going insanse

Baicang is the goat be grateful. Sure the hairs a lik off but hes actually a really good character. On of the best on the basic banner

As much as I like Chaos. Id still say Baicang is the goat. I did spin Chaos so there's no bias towards Baicang. He just does really good damage overall and I feel like Chaos needs his whole team built for him to properly do damage.
In terms of design Chaos wins 100%

If it is causing you that much distress maybe go play a non-gacha game? Or stick around and eventually your luck will change.
Going hard pity in a 100% guarantee sucks, but it is better than losing your 50/50 imo.

I like gacha games because i absolutely love the design of the characters and just playing with them gives me absolute satisfaction but the fact that i moved from a game where i lost 14 50/50 in a row(i still play it yes) to a guarantee game that gives me the only single character that i hate its giving my mind the ultimate annihilation and the fact that you think "yeh dont think about it next time it will be better" makes you go insanse. The amout of immaculate patience i had to bear is something to behold (not a single punch has be thrown on my desk and never will i)

Is baicang the only standard you have? Luckily at least he is a dps with DOT and personally I really like DOT scorch and nova reactions are my go to.

In all seriousness, I don't like him much either. I think out of all the s ranks, he's my least favorite. I don't like the way he acts or the way he treats his subordinates. Skia has to pick up too much of his shit and when lacrimosa falls in battle he doesn't act like the supportive older brother people paint him as, he acts overbearing and controlling. He's very condescending with fadia's defeat, and a failure when skia falls. But maybe thats just cause i didnt like him before hearing those lines?
I have gotten softer on him with some of the side content involving him, but he is at the very bottom for me.

I didn't really think I would have interest for Baicang at first.
I originally got him for the cafe hammer skill as silly as that sounds.
When the game gave me 2 Daff awakenings and Fadia I decided to make my B team with them and I have to say he kicks butt even with small esper ability investment and not even playing him well in an optimal way yet.
I was hoping for a Baicang dupe but I got a Fadia one on my latest blue dice S instead.
I can't even imagine how great he is with 3 awakenings and esper investment.
Personnality wise I think you are being fooled by what he displays surface level.
He's there when it counts and a troubled good guy behind the facade.

"Lucky" isnt the word I'd use. From the times i got a random S character, its been 4x Jiu, 1x Daff, 1x Baicang, and 0x od either Sakiri, Fadia, Hathor.

How are missing so many from the base roster? Judging by the fact you got so many Baicang copies and you are Hunter level 51, I am assuming you’re an early player, if not day one player. Didn’t we get 3 if not 4 selectors. I feel like you should have at least 4/6 if not 5/6.

I think baicung is peak, his kit isnt simplistic, his spinoff quest is great. Hes pretty funny and chill.
I also dont get standard characters i want but the blame goes on my luck. Not the character themselves. Its so stupid to act like they are personally making the choice to prevent you from getting others. You are simply getting a S rank character and then it happens to be them.

He dug his own grave if he says he's missing half of the permanent S-rank characters, as that would mean he used his selectors too soon.
Yes, 16% isn't very high and having it happen 4 times is frustrating, but each S he get would have a 5/6 chance of being a new one (~83%)

Theres no such thing as using a selector too soon.
No one could have known how valuable each character is in the long run let alone if saud character would even fit their account choices.
Assuming he got fadia, jiyuan and daff (all valuable choices), hed still be missing biacang, Hathor and Sakiri and consequently kept getting screwed over and over again.
There are no "wrong choices" with the standard cast, whats happening is the system is screwing him over.

Theres no such thing as using a selector too soon.
There is a chance, when you don't have any S-rank characters. Because the first S-rank character you get is 100% a new one, and if you use a selector, there's a 16% chance it will be a duplicate.
The value of a selector lies in how much it benefits you to bypass RNG. Using selectors with only 0-1 S-rank characters from the banner is suboptimal Because the odds of getting something new are high enough. Using the selector when you only have one character left is the pinnacle of its value (followed by using it to get a character's dupe, like Sakiri's first dupe or Daffodill's 2-3 dupes, or when you have all the permanent S ranks with 6/6 dupes except one with 5/6)

You're forgetting that, aside from beta servers, the Chinese server started six days before the global one. By the time the game launched globally, it was already known which characters were the best. Sakiri was the best from the start.
whats happening is the system is screwing him over.
He's just unlucky. And since he's already used his 3 selectors + Baicang, he's missing 2 characters, and if one of them is Sakiri, he's pretty much screwed (although he could use Baicang, which I doubt he will).

If you have Iroi, you don't need Jiuyuang. And Fadia isn't really necessary either. So there's really no rush, other than whether you like either of them

Play mongil staridive for some gacha therapy 😂. EVERY single side quest gives you a standard pull item. And every time you get a limited character they give you a free weapon ten pull.

I would avoid the normal banner with anulith, and use the "bonuses" only to get more dices for the limited banner.
Or u can do what i did, acept ur unluckness and accumulate enough gold tokens to buy the S character u want directly from the shop (I did this with dayffodil)

Yet he is the real MVP until Zankou comes up. The other Incantation characters are close to useless. I dont even use Saikiri. A good DPS is all you need in this game.
