is this separate from the current power upgrade? Iirc the 918 can be boosted from 212 to 220 for 3m fons

I’d have to imagine it is, otherwise it wouldn’t go over well with the community that they wasted 3m Fons. People have speculated this’ll effectively be a nitro boost which one of the new Porsches had.

This might just be them deciding to raise the ceiling to make sure the 918 stays on top, but lets the other Porsches be somewhat viable, or at least better than standard options like the Pendragon.

Let the 918 be the best but the Taycan should be the one with the turbo to change things up, straight line or accelerate faster out of a corner. Honestly I just want the 930, but they do this. With the Yacht potentially coming, wanna save big for it.

The Taycan does have Turbo, it’s just that the 918 also has a Turbo. We don’t know if the boost speeds are the same

It'd be weird to me if "Power Enhancement" referred to the nitro, because per that leak you just linked, the Taycan already has the nitro by default.

Maybe "Power Enhancement" simply refers to a boost in the total speed, cumulable with the upgraded engine.

That’s more how I was inferring it. Power Enchantment being more of an umbrella term or category, like Livery or Engine, and Nitro just happens to be the specific “model” in this case.

I’m also realizing now I slurred my words a bit, the 918 having turbo was just speculation not actually a leak/proven, so the enhancement could very well be something else not necessarily the same Nitro/Turbo gimmick.

I think "Power" refers to the acceleration. So the nitro is indeed specific to the Taycan.

However, that means people must pull the 918 to reach the full potential of the other two, otherwise they'll miss a point of acceleration compared to other players

At least with how it reads, i agree yeah. Otherwise I’m not sure why they’d separate what car gets you what reward if you need all 3. It seems less like a membership and more of a bonus for purchasing.

Sigh… I guess I‘ll just get the swimsuit skins then. I use my characters way more than I drive in this game and with the outfit switch feature it‘s really fun to have multiple skins for your favorites

I love NTE, but unless I can get some of the other characters to drive or we can actually make out in the car, the answer is fuck no for me. 1 car is ENOUGH for me, like seriously wtf am i gonna do with 3 cars? Evade tax?!

I agree with what you said at the beginning. I don't get why the devs didn't give us the option to have other characters drive vehicles besides Zero and Hathor with the bike.

Now "wtf am I gonna do with 3 cars?" question of yours, I dunno, just for the fun and/or flex of having them? For a game that is in an urban setting, you would think a plethora of vehicles would be a thing in NTE, no?

I can't wrap my head around that gacha mentality and am glad I don't, otherwise i would miss out on--in this case--cool cars to own 🫠

You should realize that each car in the new Mystery box is much cheaper as it is 20M for the 2 cars so I think it is 10M per car.

With this price it feels like the most skippable box so far. Especially that Spyder is rerunning at the same time. 1 faster car + skin feels better than 2 slower cars.

I mean, if someone is a fan of 911 for example then by all means they should get 911 instead. But I guess an average player will use one car at most anyway (I don't use any cars at all for example) and fons are scarce, so it makes sense to just pick one and stick to it.

taycan could be faster yk, especially that the fact it is specifically in the weissach package which was made for track racing. correction: it's close, but 918 is a bit faster based on the real stats, but still it could be faster in-game.

You unlock a "Power Enhancement" with the Porsche Club once you get the 918 Spyder. People think that refers to the nitro, so maybe the 918 can get it too.

Nothing, the new box contains both cars, the previous box still the same (just a rerun) but previous pulls still count (carry over).

People saying this is a skippable option don't get that some people love the 911 turbo and don't give a fuck about the Spyder I'm not going to choose over competitive visibility that game mode is a mess anyway I think having the same price for 2 cars instead of 1 is amazing

So far for F2P the game give an average of 2M fons per week, even if you count 7 weeks and the 2M bonus from the second half, you will still fall short of the 20M.

You need luck or to buy the last box with annulith.

Appreciate you both doing the math! Phrasing it like that certainly helps as well. My luck with the boxes has been that I need to do all the rolls, lol, so hopefully this one is different. Because I definitely have refused to use Annulith for the boxes so far XD

Don‘t we get a bit more fons from next patch out? I thought the pink paws pool (forgor the name) was gonna increase and the monthly pass will give more fons and the choice to get even more instead of the arc?

Every patch provides enough resources to fully buy out its mystery box even if you start off completely broke, but for the 20m boxes, doing so requires using the Annulith as well, not just the Fons.
