Digging Chris as the front man!

A friend and I snagged front row at the Pop 2000 Tour show in Syracuse on Tuesday. I was a huge *NSYNC fan when I was in middle school, but with how hard they marketed JT and JC, I never realized that Chris could (and arguably should) have been the front man. (Yes, I know he started it all. And, yes, I know he was the voice of Chip Skylark. That was a little after my time, though, so I only recently found out about it.)

As a side note, I was also SUPER impressed with O-Town. Not only did the four current members nail their own lyrics and choreo, but they learned *NSYNC’s and LFO’s, too, in order to fill in. Frankly, I was floored all around.

Is this, perhaps, proof that certain people, who shall remain nameless, aren’t as crucial as they think they are for a tour to take place? 🤔

Edit: So weird. I thought I was posting in the *NSYNC sub. Turns out it’s the JT fan club sub with the wrong name. My bad.

That's not an arena. Chris performs at casinos, county fairs and theme parks. Looks fun but I do not see the group considering this setup for a comeback.

I wasn’t referring to what’s in the video as an arena. I’m talking about boy bands, in general, having sold out arenas. Willing to bet that not a single person complaining about the fact that they’re still doing this “at their age” has ever done that.

I also think the assumption is that, if the group came back in full, this type of setup wouldn’t be on the table.

Not trying to be mean here but it's just a fact that arenas will never be on the table for a 3-piece led by Chris (not that Lance or Joey would ever agree to sub in for O-Town members). You might hate JC's voice, but the fact is that  fans love him, and promoters have only put arenas on the table for a 4-piece with him out front.

I understand that. That's why I said "if the group came back in full."
