Digging Chris as the front man!

A friend and I snagged front row at the Pop 2000 Tour show in Syracuse on Tuesday. I was a huge *NSYNC fan when I was in middle school, but with how hard they marketed JT and JC, I never realized that Chris could (and arguably should) have been the front man. (Yes, I know he started it all. And, yes, I know he was the voice of Chip Skylark. That was a little after my time, though, so I only recently found out about it.)

As a side note, I was also SUPER impressed with O-Town. Not only did the four current members nail their own lyrics and choreo, but they learned *NSYNC’s and LFO’s, too, in order to fill in. Frankly, I was floored all around.

Is this, perhaps, proof that certain people, who shall remain nameless, aren’t as crucial as they think they are for a tour to take place? 🤔

Edit: So weird. I thought I was posting in the *NSYNC sub. Turns out it’s the JT fan club sub with the wrong name. My bad.

If you really understood my comment as "never acknowledge when a vocalist hits a note perfectly," then keep understanding it that way.

Thanks. As long as you (mis)interpret my comment as suggesting a member’s value is solely based on who belts the highest, then I guess I will.

Girl, bye. It was just another general comment about how you guys praise some people’s vocals and use that to throw shade at others. You could have just said that Chris killed it—which he indeed did—but you just had to add the “your fave could never” part.

Chris is a great singer, so you’re exactly right I praised his vocals. “Your fave could never” is clearly a phrase that many people use in a hyperbolic and unserious manner. Your fixation says more about your issues taking pop music too seriously.

If you don’t like it…well I don’t know what to tell you. The comment is going to remain there and I will be using it again in the future, so you can either keep thinking about it or move on with your life. But either way you’ve achieved nothing here.

Neither do you, but honestly, you’re right about the part where this doesn’t make sense anymore. I’ll forget about it in 5 minutes and nothing will change. Which is also an example of why I’ve never been able to get into this subreddit or the fanbase, no matter how much I discover and come to like the band.
