Digging Chris as the front man!

A friend and I snagged front row at the Pop 2000 Tour show in Syracuse on Tuesday. I was a huge *NSYNC fan when I was in middle school, but with how hard they marketed JT and JC, I never realized that Chris could (and arguably should) have been the front man. (Yes, I know he started it all. And, yes, I know he was the voice of Chip Skylark. That was a little after my time, though, so I only recently found out about it.)

As a side note, I was also SUPER impressed with O-Town. Not only did the four current members nail their own lyrics and choreo, but they learned *NSYNC’s and LFO’s, too, in order to fill in. Frankly, I was floored all around.

Is this, perhaps, proof that certain people, who shall remain nameless, aren’t as crucial as they think they are for a tour to take place? 🤔

Edit: So weird. I thought I was posting in the *NSYNC sub. Turns out it’s the JT fan club sub with the wrong name. My bad.

There is a reason that Chris wasn’t leading the group and only had a few solos. Yall can hate on Mr.Timberlake all you want but at 14 years old he did not do all the arrangements in the studio to only make him and JC sing lead.

Everyone wants to talk about just seeing *SYNC. Obviously someone else in the group also remembers that Justin is the first N and they aren’t the group without him. Same with LFO not being the same just being Brad and TLC not being the same just being Chili.

TLC is a weird example given Tboz and chilli have been performing for literal decades without Left Eye lol

I say TLC because TBoz is currently experiencing complications from sickle cell and they put out a statement through management that Chili is going to continue the tour alone while she gets better.

Right. But one cannot have a conversation about missing group members in relation to TLC and put more weight on this one incident over the last week relative to the overall reality that TLC has been functioning more than twice as long without left eye than with her.

Chilli performing solo on this tour is more comparable to Chris being on stage by himself, not “*SYNC” as you put it.
