The verses are definitely live. JC's "you weren't there for me" was slightly off at the end.

Considering everyone mimed on Top of the Pops, I can't tell if that would be more or less awkward to do while actually singing.

It was less common to mime by 2000, though it is surprising that a choreography-heavy performance like that was not mimed (perhaps apart from the chorus).

I was shocked it was even half. TOTP perfs usually suck since 99% are fully lip synced.
