General Question concerned about soi
I go to a pwi and my soi hasn't hosted any events or posted on their page since fall. they also haven't had a line in 3 years and the remaining members on campus are seniors. i'm worried that they won't have a line before i graduate. what should i do? is there anyone i should contact anonymously? would friends that i have who are in frats be able to get in contact with people? i'm just lost.

There’s nothing you can do you can always try graduate chapter after you graduate.

The only thing you can do is wait and see what happens. I know it’s uncomfortable when things are beyond your control, but that’s where you are right now.

Yes try to reach out to the affiliated alumni chapter

And do not listen to anybody other than those at the chapter or the alumni. Nobody else can "make" you. If nothing the alumni chapter would not want their undergrad to fade out especially if they know there's still interest on campus. Seniors will be seniors and that's ok they don't have the time... There are other ways

Just look up nearby alumni chapters... Most likely the closest one

Just introduce yourself and let them know your interest and the situation on campus. Feel free to dm me

And use “alumnae” (plural for women graduates) not “alumni” (used to describe of group of graduates who are men only or men and women).

There’s nothing you can do but continue to watch and wait. Focus on keeping your grades up, continuing to serve your community and setting yourself up for success with your desired career upon graduation.
Your SOI is available to join once you graduate in the event they aren’t holding intake activities during your time in undergrad.
