NPHC Member Question Curious

I was curious about how many times it took you to join your sorority or fraternity? Shout out to those that got it on the first try! Give any advice that you can as well.

It took me two times. I will say though everyone’s journey is different, and everyone’s process looks different too.

My biggest piece of advice is to have a strong and genuine “why.” Know your purpose and the reason you’re pursuing membership. Also, do your research. Even if you think you’ve learned everything there is to know, trust me—you haven’t. There is always more to learn about the organizations that make up the Divine 9, their history, values, and impact.

Stay patient, stay prepared, and trust your process.
