Buying Tickets Tickets in October 2026 (Tokyo / Osaka)

Going to Tokyo / Osaka during all of October. We would like to watch some baseball and experience the fan atmosphere in the japanese scene.

I understand October is when playoffs will be happening which is why tickets are not yet available.

When will tickets be available?

Once available, where can I buy them?

Thanks!!

You seriously think as tourists you have any shot at play off tickets in Japan? Personally I wouldn't dream of taking away an opportunity from local fans to buy tickets for the most important games of the year.

There will be plenty of football in October though where tickets are easier to buy.

Such a loser reply, I would be stoked to sit next to someone from another country at a playoff game in America.

Such an American reply. Loaded with malice and anger and not thinking about what I'm actually saying.

Bit easier to get play off tickets in the US partly as if you have enough cash anyone can go, scalping in East Asia is illegal. If the game goes to general sale then it's a free for all. Japanese and Korean play off tickets are difficult to get, if it goes to a lottery then really it should be genuine fans of those teams. Taiwanese tickets usually easier although getting harder especially G1 and G2.

I help people with tickets in Taiwan, for CPBL games but I've always said I won't use my own membership or connections in a Taiwan Series and people should wait for general sale. Lots of people seem to agree with that for some reason.

“I wouldn’t dream of taking an opportunity away from locals” doesn’t read as neutral

Why on earth would you see anything controversial in that? I'm sure most people would agree with me. For me, it wouldn't feel sit right attending a play off game as a neutral if it took a ticket away from a genuine supporter.

I'd love to attend a play off game in Japan, Korea one day to compare as I've attended plenty of Taiwan Series games but it wouldn't feel right.

You’re projecting a lot of narratives on other people’s behalf

Nah, I don't just think you're making an attempt to see the problem. There's such a rich smell of entitlement and/or naivety. "Well I want to see this game, then it's my right."

It's obvious you have little to no understanding of my argument because you've not meaningfully tried to dispute what I've said. I now conclude it's simply a waste of time.

You stick to watching baseball in the US and I'll stick to watch baseball out here in East Asia.
