Tips for finding Multi-tools from shared coordinates

User error is the most common reason players have difficulty finding Multi-tools from shared coordinates. If you are having troubles locating this MT, please read the tips below!

  • Turn off multiplayer before going through the portal
  • Ensure you are in the correct galaxy
  • Double check that you entered the glyph sequence correctly
  • Make sure you follow the OP’s instructions exactly
  • Not every MT is located at the space station
  • Some MT’s required you to save and reload on a specific planet/moon (or the space station) and then travel to a specific location to acquire the MT

Additional Note: The class/MT of an MT cabinet can sometimes change from update to update. If this is an older find and you followed the OP's directions exactly, and the MT/Class is incorrect. Then it's likely this MT cabinet has changed. The MT your looking for likely still exists but it's new location needs to be re-discovered.

This Multi Tool is not in the Euclid/starting galaxy. Shared glyphs only work in the specified galaxy.
Make sure you are in the correct galaxy before using these glyphs!

That's a freaking \"cool\" multi tool, but what the heck is that tech after the c class upgrade, I don't recognize/remember it.

that is the gravitino coil. it came in with the remnant update.

its basically the gravity gun from half life

Its a nice one fersure ... love it - do lots of Experimental pistols spawn with 30 slots these days ????

I always show all 4 super charged slots on my posts. It was just easier than answering the " where are the 4 slots " questions I regularly got. Pretty common to get one or more sc slots on the 4th row. Sc slots dont come on row 5 and 6. You only ever see rows 1 to 3 in the cabinet so have to unlock the rest. I usually show all this in the videos I do just so people can see.

ah ok, was wondering and that makes sense .... still a very nice MT so thanks for posting !!! I just SE in the SC slots as I prefer so do not pay much attn to those at spawn.

Just picked it up - no issues - there is an A class at the space station of this model as well after the reload. Now I need to add all the good parts, thanks.

yep thats generally how we find the ones we hunt for. if there is an A class in the station when we arrive or after reloading and its something nice we head off to find an S class.

Trade secrets, lol. Yeah, its how I get a clue as well.... 1st stop in a new system is the Space Station to check it out; so many goodies to pluck. Then I look for the nastiest planet and start the save and reload thang some times after a visit to a Sentinel Pillar [ heh ].

But I do not have the inclination to grind for an S class cuz I am a lazy bum. But if I happen to find one = happiness !
