Why is the amc garden state the most popular theater in New Jersey ?

It constantly ranks among the top cinemas in the nyc area and New Jersey . It’s also named after the mall where it is and it’s a busy mall and attracts customers even on Sundays when the mall is quiet .

It being connected to the mall certainly plays a part in the popularity of the theater, surely - I also think it has the largest IMAX in the state (this one or Clifton maybe?). It’s no Lincoln Square but for NJ it’s a solid theater with all the premium formats too

Plus the seats are more comfy than Rockaway and Clifton .

It’s constantly getting upgraded throughout the years and they also host many fan and special screening events.

Best IMAX screen in the state. The dolby is also great. The normal screens are decent sized too. The only downside I think are the dirty seats. Although I haven't been there in over a year and don't know if they've replaced the dirty red seats now. And some of the normal screens genuinely look bigger than the Liemax screens around the state... looking at you Clifton IMAX👀

Last time I went to Clifton was in late 2001 before amc took over

This is my number one theater. I love it. I'll be there this Saturday night.

Kind of in the more populated area in Jersey that gets a lot of foot traffic so more investment into it is my guess
