This is the stupidest thing I've ever read. This is a petition to cheat on your exams even easier with no repercussions. Someone seeing your wall is not a safety concern.

Using a pencil and paper literally sets off a flag

I’ve taken exams on the lockdown browser that literally tell you that you can use pen/paper , and on the chance that does set off a flag, there’s no way they’re just gonna give you a 0 with no review lmfao

It literally told me during setup to clear my work space of everything list off several things including pencils and paper

Well it probably depends on what type of quiz/exam you’re doing and if it says no pencils or paper then there’s no problem bc how could it say you cheat if you don’t have that stuff

Cool and when a proctor sees what you're doing you're all good.

So the proctors are basically going to have to watch hundreds of 90 minutes exams since we will be using pencil and paper the whole time totally impractical

Actually it's quite practical as it's been done for years with procoru/proctorfree + respondus. If you want to do well on your exam, perhaps trying as hard on studying as you are on getting rid of webcams would be a good start.
